@BoredAdminMonkey Thought I would chime in my SW-RPG 2 cents here. While they really don't give you much for your status in K2 in K1 you get a better feel for it. In D20 Star Wars a 1st-lvl Jedi class(Consular, Guardian, Sentinel) are considered Padawan, at 7th-lvl you are considered a Jedi Knight, & at 13th-lvl you are considered a Jedi Master. Of course that is just the RPG's breakdown which is what Kotor is built off of for it's rules set.

UPDATE!!! KORDERON TROOPER FINISHED

Finally, we have finished that darn korderon trooper helmet. It looks really good in game so here are a few screenshots for you to take a look for yourselves.

As you can see in the pictures, he is equiped with a Korderon Blaster Rifle, which just happens to be one of the many custome weapons in the game.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!! MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!!!

 

While thinking for a long time and looking from script to script, I was totally stumped on how the heck to make a non partymember NPC follow the Player. (Something we tried to do in Reign of the Sith but even with everyones help, had not success). I was completely stumped and then I thought I would just play around a bit and try to pull a Darth333 or Stoffe and make it by myself and.... IT WORKED! :D Im probably a little too proud of myself but, seeing as this is the first non-obvious script i have made all by meself I will ejoy it :D.

 

Anyways here are some pics of what happened and how it worked.

 

Its valentines day and the girls are flocking to the PC. Awww

 

One might say the PC is getting a little too much attention.... RUUUUN!!

 

All I did really was replace the OnSpawn and OnHeartbeat params of the girls' .utc file to my script "followpc"

 

This is the script:

I will probably end up making the following lenght shorter in the mod later as they followed from quite a distance.

My *snip*!!! That is an amazing job on that helmet. Did you set that up so that all heads can handle it for it's size?

Is it me or is that armor the coolest thing we have ever seen? :D

I can see it has some Clone-Trooper parts, me likes :)

 

btw: Finally a real love-option in Kotor :p

@Darkkender: The model is its own separate head for te Korderon NPC just like the storm trooper armor with Prime. It is however a helmet as well, and yes, one size fits all :).

 

BTW: You can thank the amazing coolnes look of the helmet and rifle to Vall Kronar our awsome Concept artist.

Well you can thank many of the beautiful and unique designs here to Vall Kronar, he is a concept art genious and a joy to have on the team. We have him working on many other things as well that may make your jaw drop :).

Allright. Sorry I have not been able to update these forums modwize in a while, I have been hard at work in my dungeon of modding... Right now I am trying to make the Ebon Hawk into the Dwing. Which means i have to make a buttload of scripts for all of the cutscenes and party npc's in the shuttle. That also means I will be posting quite a few script questions which I am sure Darth333 and stoffe can be of great help with.

 

Anyways, later tonight I will be posting some screens of what I have so far with the D-Wing.

 

Also, I updated the forum a bit, added a suggestions forum, and a job applications forum. So check it out if you are interested.

Okay dwing module is almost complete, there are still a few scripts left to create and add but it is mostly finished.

 

I have added another video update to the website featureing the D-Wing. So if you want to see how things work, go and check it out. Due to the fact that I have a video of it, I find that pictures are not nessesary.

great update. this looks even cooler than i expected now i really cant wait. who can board you is it a random enemy or is there a set person or enemy. great job though looking good

I watched both video's and i can't wait till the mod is released :D

 

It's very cool you actually have to repair the ship, just like they do in the movies. You really captured the SW feeling by the funny dialogue to.

Better luck with the ladyz next time ;)

Just an FYI, the next Video Update will be centered around Hoth and the way that system will be set up. Hopefully I will be able to finish up the scripts and npc dialogs by this weekend.
