DarthVandar205 Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Can Anyone explain why the characters when you chose "none" in the armor section wear those stupid body/jumpsuit things instead of a bikini for the women and shorts for the guy? I mean did they do it for modesty or just because they wanted to make it sci-fi? Especially with the more low-life characters *except the handmaiden*. I believe there may be a mod out to change this, not sure. I have no idea what would make them do that though. Its kind of distractingly wierd. I just think there shouldve been more things like that for the women characters and more undergarments like the kind Canderous wore in the first KOTOR for the guys. The Handmaiden is naked with an explanation as that is how the Echani duel and the dancing is also justifiable but undergarments aren't. At least without proper explanation. Besides on some of those planets it makes sense to do so. I dont think some of the over dressed crowd looks cool because all of the clothes they wear just looks really overdone and silly and people in their positions normally wouldnt wear that much. But that's not exactly true, just an opinion of mine and an observation. just be careful not to place everyone in that category. i've known plenty of people that would take offense to the dancer's outfit being in any game. and they're not christians. so that i don't turn this into a big christian vs non-christian debate (in other words, to stay on topic), i do believe that the devs were just a tad inconsistant with the undergarments thing considering the, umm, exposure of the dancer's outfit and the handmaiden's undergarments. either way, its not something i'm too awefully concerned about. i just think its inconsistant. It's just that some people are very easily offended when it comes to these things (and some people just want to make money out of it). I like the looks of the DS version though. Besides people CHOOSE to buy the game so when they do that they buy it at their own risk. Its not the company's fault if people get offended too easily. They get out of trouble simply by saying that they have warnings on the box about the product before people buy it and the people chose to buy it and are by no means forced to so if they buy the product and find something they dont like after having been warned about it then its their fault not the company's. If Atton was talking about the PC being half-naked than the Pc should be half naked, If not, then not. Simple. And hwat's up with the new sparkly robes? Jedi were supposed to wear plain, unassuming garmetns, yet these newer robes I see with their golden/silver trimings and intense colour schemes look like something a spoiled King would wear..not a jedi.. Heh. That strikes me as a bit off. People who would get offended by the dancer's outfit, but would they still play the game even considering it gives you the opportunity to be uber-evil?
