RaV™
Hm, I just got down watching one of the micro-series episodes [21-25], and Anakin appears to have tatoos any explanation to this?
THE MANDALORE
His tatoos are from a ritual that he attended during the clone wars. The ritual was supposed to protect him on his quest to liberate several aliens. The aliens had been abducted by separatist forces and Anakin had volunteered to rescue them. RaV™
Hmm, were these aliens Nelvaanians?
Sabretooth
Yep, they were Nelvaanians. Unfortunately, they don't use anaesthetics.
RaV™
What were the bugs they were using in the ritual? [Finally seen the episode, but my speakers aren't working on my computer so I didn't get anything out of it]
Jeff
He didn't have tatoos in the movie, did he?
Boba Rhett
No, he doesn't in RotS but that's because EU != the movie chain of events.
RaV™
The Nelvaanian Warriors looked so friggin awesome, before they were turned into mutants, can someone get me info on their species and anything along that?

They seem to emit the liquid that the elder put into them, thereby working as some sort of a primitive tattoo booth.
RC-1162
i saw the trailer and i saw his bare chest. There werent any tatoos on it.
Prime
His bare chest is very clearly shown in the film, and he has no tatooes. Also not that a different events are described in Labyrinth of Evil that contradict those shown in the Clone Wars series. But essentially it doesn't matter because what Boba Rhett said is correct.
