armando2371
I'm still working on a hoodless head for kreia, but when I export it to kotor II again hear head just floats above her body, and her tongue sticks out sideways. The only thing that stay in place are the eyes and the teeth. Here's a image of it: http://photobucket.com/albums/b285/jedirevan/?action=view¤t=K2_00001.jpg
Jeff
That just might be the weirdest thing I have ever seen... Maybe its because it appears you aren't trying to put it on her body...
General Kenobi
It looks like a HEX editing flub up to me. I believe Kreia's mdl is one that has "oddities" that is VERY HARD to get to work. I'd start with the original mdl file for her and MANUALLY replace the entries not auto find & replace or whatever. Bad things can happen anywho when your HEX editing, but replace features are horrible at screwing up your mdl file. Try that and see if that helps your problem. In addition Kreia might also be one of those characters like Bao-Dur whos head floats about 1/2 foot compared to his body. Hope that helps a bit General Kenobi
armando2371
Okay, thanks for the suggestions. That has at least solved half the problem. The head now sits normally on top of the body, but when she talks there are no facial anims. or expressions.
Darth InSidious
If you want Kreia to remove her hood, there's a very simply way of doing it. Write a dialogue with dlgeditor, in which you make her use the "Hood off" anim... Then she'll take it off.
armando2371
I know, but kreia doesn't have a full head model. But thanks anyways. I've been trying to take the full one from the evil kreia's head and put it on one of those bodies with which you can change clothes.
General Kenobi
You might want to ask Svösh or one of the other modelers about this one. I'm not sure if even possible to "attach" it to another model. The animations and I think they call them "bones" won't work or some such. It would be very very kewl if you suceed in this as so far there haven't been "new models" as of yet for characters. General Kenobi

That's risky, you may ruin the animations for the model, so you could try, but if it messes up th model there's nothing you can do.
Darth InSidious
I know, but kreia doesn't have a full head model. But thanks anyways. I've been trying to take the full one from the evil kreia's head and put it on one of those bodies with which you can change clothes. Huh? Ohh, you want to put the head on another body.......well, you could simply add a new line to Appearance.2da for that job Or edit Kreia's line...... And what do you mean by not having a full head model? Did someone dip a straw in or something?
armando2371
Kreia's normal head ends at her hairline, so she only has a face. The people at Obsidian probably did that because she never removes the hood anyways.

It looks like this when she's pulled off her hood.
armando2371
Seems I've been diong things the difficult way. B.T.W, How did you do that?
stoffe
Seems I've been diong things the difficult way. B.T.W, How did you do that? It's done with animations added to her dialog file. The Hood up/down thing for the Handmaiden, Kreia and Traya models is handled through animations. I added the 10507 (Hood off) animation to her "Have you come with questions?" dialog node, making her pull back her hood whenever you talk to her (and then usually pull it back up when done talking with the 10508 animation). Jolly Boots
Thought I would bump this up a bit since I seem to be trying to do what armando was. The only problem I've encountered is that Kreias head model IS incomplete for some reason. As seen here: http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/7969/swkotor220050827114031716fl.png Now, the obvious question is: how on earth do I fix this? Now, I want her to be wearing other armor so that rules out using the animations.
Mono_Giganto
Kreia has a full head model in the cutscene in the Trayus core, where she gets thrown into the pillar. Perhaps look for that one.
_Phaedrus_
Interesting pic....has Kreia's had gone the way of the Cheshire Cat?
Jolly Boots
No...Kreias evil head isn't in the heads.2da and adding one doesn't work (get no head at all) I did a look at the models and it turns out that the KreiaH, without the hood, is without the back. So, modeling has to be done (and unfortunatly, I have no clue how to save mdls.) Since its probably simple. Take the hood and extra off, leaving only the head and save it as the head model. armando2371
Thats what I did, but the animations on the face (ie. when talking, facial expessions) just wont work.
Darth333
Unfortunately, model edition for Kotor 1 and 2 is still limited and we cannot edit a head without loosing the animations. Well some editing of heads is possible but you'll have to use Taina's replacer toolto move vertices.
Jolly Boots
How unfortunate. Oh well. Guess I'll have to do with Kreia missing the back of her head for now.
wutwut
Is there anyway to make her just have her hood down all the time? A small mod for the game maybe? Even if it requires me to talk to her once to get the hood down, then never let it go back up? Anyway at all?
