ET Warrior Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 So in a recent study, it was determined that the University of Colorado is the 11th best public university in the world. http://www.colorado.edu/news/releases/2005/349.html It's based on the research and publications of our facutly, among other things. This is really pretty amazing, CU is even ranked 35th in the world if you count private universities. http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2005/ARWU2005TOP500list.htm There's the top 500 list, Where do you guys' colleges rank?
Mike Windu Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Would there happen to be a high school ranking <_< That's cool though. Congrats Colleges I'd like to go to are Harvard, Boston Uni, or Duke (all really ****ing expensive)
El Sitherino Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 If it weren't for the whole "out of state tuition" thing, I'd be going to CU. Pretty awesome news.
Lightsaberboy Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 #123 world rank for UC Riverside. w00t w00t. i thought we'd be lower.
Hermie Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Was hard to actually naigate the actual overall score, but at least the one in my town made the list, altough at the very bottom. Got 4th best in the country though.
Jeff Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Duke is 32; not that I go there, but I want to after I graduate Though I did learn that my high school was the 10th best catholic high school in the country
acdcfanbill Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 funny my school isnt on there, we are usually in the running with other top universities at competitions. we just had a programming team do really well at prague last year. too small i guess, i bet if they based their papers publish/grants/projects on a per capita basis we'd do better http://www.sdsmt.edu
