Sienna's eyes focused on Michael and she stared at him for a few seconds before shrugging and clinking her glass against his. "Freaks and geeks..."

She took a sip of her drink and leaned back against the booth again. Suddenly, her eyes opened.

"So tell me, Michael," she said. "What brought you to Canada and to the party last night?"

"So he gets drunk and you have to drive him home," Sienna nodded. "Megan and I have the same sort of relationship... only not only do I have to drive her back to a hotel, I also have to take her work shifts..." She frowned. "I'm concerned... her behavior could end up getting her fired. She can't afford that... but she still does this stuff." A small sigh escaped Sienna's lips as she thought of her friend's behavior.

"Well... almost," Sienna admitted. "More what she does is threaten to do something to me if I take her shift. When the threat has been given, she proceeds to call in and have the shift transferred to me. Finally, when she's sobered up, she thanks me for taking the shift and apologizes for being so harsh." She shrugged. "It's become an endless circle that I wish would end."

"Grade school," Sienna answered, a small smile coming to her face. "I was the perfect student. She was the psycho. Somehow we formed a friendship and she straightened out... a little." Her smile was replaced with a frown and she shrugged. "What about you and Miguel?"

"Nothing terribly special," Sienna answered. "Helena's just like any other city I've run into on the West Coast." She shrugged and a smile came to her face. "When I was younger, we used to spend all our hollidays and summer at my grandparents' house in Clancy... a few miles south of Helena."

She sighed. "Clancy's not very big. My grandparents live on a small dirt road... had a nice big piece of land and it's within walking distance of the forest... hunter's paradise. My uncle... my mom's brother used to go up there every hunting season and he and my grandpa would go hunting... maybe they still do, but I don't know. I haven't visited in three years. Haven't even been back to Helena in that long."

She fell into a thoughtful silence. "Do you ever miss your old home?"

Sienna shrugged. "After I met Megan, I did get a bit less 'perfect' and a little more daring..." She giggled. "We pulled countless pranks at school... anything from rigging lockers to spill everything when opened to making our own creations in chemistry rather than following the recipes we were given."

She laughed. "And still I graduated top of my class... Call that some serious luck, yeah?"

"Well, you seem smart enough to manage it. Hmm...school pranks. Well I did once put a chicken inside a teacher's desk. It ended up laying eggs, and some cousins helped me out, dressed in suits, and acted as if though they were from the fish and wildlife department and that the chicken was an endangered breed. The teacher didn't dare go to his desk for a month. "

"Oh,that's great!" Sienna laughed. "Megan and I created a chemical explosion in the halls once... and we blamed rats for the hole." She giggled. "Funny thing is, they believed us... rat poison and traps all over the school for weeks. And best of all, school was canceled for a week so they could inspect the place."

She shrugged. "Then again, because of the lost week, we did have an extra week in the spring... but it was an acceptable loss given how freaked out everybody was."
