I Love The Dead

This thread may seem odd or very very disgusting, but the question is: Has anyone of you ever made love or at least kissed a dead person? Now don't think that I did or something (well acctually now that you mentioned it... NO! ugh, oh there was this one time when I licked a human skull, but that doesn't count) but I want to know your opinion on this because I wanted to kill my ex-girlfriend today, then kiss her, then jump off from the 4th floor. Guys, I you get a chance to be with a chick that listens to Pink Floyd and wants a Led Zepelin tattoo, DON'T DO IT! Those kind of chicks are ****ing weird, even for me, and I got some friends that agree with me.

I love the dead before their cold

The bluing flesh for me to hold

Cadaver eyes upon me see....nothing

I love the dead before they rise

No farewells, no goodbyes

I never even knew your null rotting face

While friends and lovers mourn your silly grave....

I have other uses for you, darling.

It depends how long they've been dead you know, i mean if they were still warm ... well, beggars can't be choosers if you get my meaning.

But a girl who likes pink floyd and led zepelin is a rear thing, to kill a creature like that would be a crime. As in more of a crime than killing a regular person.

As much as it pains me to cut the tie with the cuh-razy Psychonauts forum, this thread is just way too cool.

And you should all know that I've made out with a zombie. Five of them. Also a maniken and a pineapple. Huzzah! And this 100 sided dice thing! And hedge-cutters, and a cup. Apple pie, a tasty crepe, coffee beans, and lettuce.

All of these items were very dead. Especially the coffee beans and cup.

The end. :0

That's a good point. Everything “inanimate” is technically dead. But, for simplicity's sake, I'll stick to the corpsefied region of discussion.

I suppose I've had lustful feelings towards the dead, but not "the dead" (as in, kissing a rotting corpse. More, a person that is deceased).

Hey PurpleSquid! Happy out-of-the-psychonauts-forums! "You've made your first step into a larger world."

'tis true. I'm an obsessive collector of his work. He's given a lot of credit for his performance (which is definitely great), but I think he's underrated for his songwriting, which is quite unique.

Though there are some time periods where he isn't as strong **cough**eighties**cough** he's still holding up well now. I was pleased with Dirty Diamonds, particularly the song "Six Hours".

Hellyeah! "Six Hours" and "Zombie Dance", the whole album is like "Love It To Death". Yes, the '80s were very strange with the whole Da Da Rock thing and believe it or not, I kinda liked his '80s albums, like "Special Forces", "Da Da", and "Trash". Still, I really think that the "Brutal Planet" and "Dragontown" are very very poor.

About the lyrics, I never was sure that he wrote his own lyrics...

He does write his own lyrics, although they do seem to vary. I actually read a recent interview with him where he talked about how it was important he put puns and such clever remarks in his lyrics and does what he can to "make himself laugh", and there is always that trademark quality, but they've still changed quite heavily from "Pretties" to "Death" to "Nightmare" to "Trash" to "Diamonds".

Brutal Planet was somewhat decent but a bit a "too hard" effort to be modern. I didn't like "The Eyes" much at all, excluding "This House is Haunted" which is one of the best songs he's ever done. There are quite a few other recordings I'm missing, but I've still got a solid collection.

Are you a Zappa fan by any chance, Necro?
