Petecass86
Hi, im new to this board but my question is what sort of prices do the Sam and Max comics go for. Which ones is it reasonable to fork out a lot for and which ones are not? Its just if you look on amazon the Surfin' the Highway book sells for obscene amounts. So im interested in Knowing what makes it so expensive and how much some of the others are likely to fetch.
xChri5x
Surfin' the highway is super rare, so thats why. I WASNET CRAZY AFTER ALL! I swear there used to be one for 400 + http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/1569248141/ref=dp_olp_2//104-6136913-7415131?condition=all
itchythesamurai
Heh, that link doesn't work...sounds crazy to me.
toenail1
I see it for $288.99 , thats not quite over $400 but definitely more than it's worth. You can find them on ebay once in a while for $70 (if you're lucky enough to win it)
xChri5x
actually, you know, now that I think about it, I think it was over 1000. The one I saw anyway. I posted about it in another thread.
SyntheticGerbil
I don't know if it's worth anything over 65, but none of you can get it that way. The best thing anyone should do is find someone who can scan a copy for you. Which isn't me by the way, unless you want to be my best friend and help me fight for what's right. Scummbuddy
I wouldn't be against scanning it, if Steve Purcell, himself, weren't still selling them on eBay. Our favorite artist has to make a living. Well, Pixar isn't bad, well, you all know what I mean.
SyntheticGerbil
He seems to be selling it more as a novelty item on Ebay rather than something people want to read.
Gotholympians
I've got a scanned copy of Surfin' the Highway on my harddrive in .cbr format that I got from ZCult back in the day, so someone's already done that. If requested, I could e-mail it to whoever might want it.

Hino
Just incase, send them my way please. I'll give you e-cookies. <Email gone, cookies unsatisfactory.> And .cbr is Comic Book Reader format, you download a simple, small program to read them with, going by the same name.
