jebbers
MSNBC what ever happened to just telling the person? now you have to send them a greeting card? the first one is funny in a sad way....but i guess it 'sends' the message to the other person
Hallucination
I think the main point of it is so that you don't have to tell them face to face. Wouldn't it be a little awkward slipping a card under someones door that says: "Dear Jane, you have AIDS, -Bill" And then running into them in the street? 90SK
I'd prefer to send a card sans the sexual innuendo, please. D:

Dagobahn Eagle
Well, I'd say that while this is pretty crazy, STDs are a pretty serious thing and whatever way of keeping people from catching it is a good way, if you ask me. This isn't "I love you" or something like that, which you're "supposed to" say to their face unless you want to remain anonymous. This is something that must get across. However, the wording is just stupid (not to mention it's sexist - why only guys on those cards? Girls give STDs, too:rolleyes: ). And it also probably pays to get in touch with the person right afterwards and say something like "sorry, it was the only way to tell you". Then talk it over. El Sitherino
I suppose it's a rather good way to cut down on violent crime...
ZBomber
I've already started abusing the system. Everyone on my contact list will probably go get checked for Gonorrhea tomorrow....
