vader815
Does anyone know how to get the Rebel artillery tanks to attack.
popcorn2008
You can tell them to attack like any regular unit, though be patient as they have to deploy to fire. After unleashing a salvo of torpedoes they must also recharge. You can also deploy them via their special ability button to make them defend a position. Athanasios
If im not mistaken, if you deploy an artillery and then click a target it doesn't reach, then it will automatically undeploy and go within range. Well, in my humble opinion, they should stay where they set, not moving around if not manually undeployed.
shadowsfm
yeah, i hate when they cant reach the big turret on tatooine, they get in its range and blow up. so i made a new stratigy, use the plax soldres as decoys
Jabbas WhOr3
I feel that the range on the artillery needs to be much larger. The things are so slow to move and setup that they need some time to escape if you see a horde of enemy tanks or even worse...speeders that can drop the thermal detonators then rush off again. Larger range...maybe a bit less damage to balance that and it would be great!
Ranger0-1
If you increase the range of the arti the can cover alot of mapterrain and the maps arent that big, so the maps need to be bigger if you want a larger range of the arti

Larger range...maybe a bit less damage to balance that and it would be great! What I have done when I've played on the Tatooine map is find a build pad, and on it construct a Repair Station. I then deploy my artillery next to that, so if they take any damage they are immediately repaired. I then use the hover tanks to go and attack some imperial forces, and run away once they start firing back. The imperials pursue into the range of the artillery and get destroyed. Seems to work well, so I don't really think you need a much longer range. You just have to make sure you use combined arms to defend your artillery. shadowsfm
i noticed that it has one hell of a range. but it only shoots that far on its one fee will, so when i actuly tell it to attack something, it undeploys, gets half the distance closer, the redeploys. whats up with that

If it's outside the fog of war per se, then they have to get close enough to be able to "see". That's why there are those little robot drones which act as forward artillery observers.
