Installing the HakPad onto Xbox

I've heard it's possible to use the Hak Pad on the Xbox version of the game.

If I have the standard, straight-from-the-factory, unmodded xbox, is it still possible? And if so, what would I need to use to get it to work, such as Action Replay?

Thank you!

No, to install a mod onto an XBox, you'd need a modded XBox in order to access the game files and install the mod.

The only way to install mods to an XBox is to put the game files on it's HD, then add the mod files to the Override folder. To do this your XBox needs to be modded.

I pruned a post and merged your 2 posts jmac. ;) -RH

I have a modded XBox and I need to use that mod, but I don't have a spells.2da or a KOTOR 2 directory at all (because the game isn't on my comp, it's on my xbox) so what do I do?

Ok, if have you have a modified xbox then all you'll need to do is add an Override folder (Useing FlashfXP) in the same directory where your kotor II's default.xbe is located.

For example: My kotor II's location is in this partition:

/F/games/Star Wars KotOR II/Override

For those with the standard xbox 10 gig hdd, the address is typically here:

/E/games/Star Wars KotOR II/Override

Afer you've created that folder you can then download and unzip a mod and then FTP it over to that folder..

Greets Xbx_Inthusiast, in reference to the above posts.. the Hak Pad mod already has a spells.2da file included.. so if you don't have one, it'll copy the one from the Hak Pad mod (in the tslpatchdata folder) :)

Be sure to read the thread that RedHawke posted as well since it has some other install tips that may help...
