ThunderPeel2001
I've completed Psychonauts and unlocked the hidden "Pokeylope and Linda" video (by getting 100 Rank), but there still seems to be some videos that remain "unfound" in my profile. Can anyone explain what these are? There's one in Thorney Towers and one in Whispering Rock. Like I said, I've already completed the game, so I don't think they're the end videos? Can't find any information anywhere! Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, - Johnny Edited by Thrik: Spoiler tag added
needlewarbler
If I remember, there's a common video in Thorney Towers that can be missed quite easily. There was this one video that could only be seen if you use clairvoyance on lili's bracelet. Whispering rock has a couple of easily missed ones too... kaecla
It's the one with Loboto telling Lili that he'll have to take out her brain. Needed to use clairvoyance on Lili's bracelet.
ThunderPeel2001
Ah!!! Thank you! What about Whispering Rock?
Jintor
You may have missed the 'Shut up and do what?' video, which is outside the Geodeisic something or the other after you do the Brain Tumbler and Sasha's Shooting Range.
Thrik
Yeah, that one's really easy to miss. I only caught it after being specifically told about it before my second play-through, mainly because it's largely tempting to just go straight into whatever level comes after that - brain tumbler #2 I think. If you do this, of course, you miss the cutscene. There may also be extra dialogue around the camp at this point, though I can't remember. All the more reason to replay! Which I really need to do at some point soon.
ThunderPeel2001
I got the 'Shut Up and Do What' video, it must be something else. I'm quite surprised someone hasn't made a list of the hard-to-find/easy-to-miss videos and where to get them! None of the FAQs at GameFAQs even mention the 100 rank video
Thrik
Hrm, I'm not sure there's really that many other than those two which are particularly difficult to stumble across. Perhaps if you posted a screenshot of your video screen so somebody can compare your dark slots to what's in their full-up slots?
HappyCabbit
Do you have the video where Raz is telling Oleander about the creature in the woods? At least, I think that's what it was...o_O Anyway, I missed that video my first time playing the game...
Udvarnoky
Yeah, you're probably missing "Fish Stories," a cutscene that's activated when you talk to Coach Oleander after seeing the Lungfish in the brain tumbler (but obviously before night time). Megan
Yeah, I missed Fish Stories the first time through and was shocked when it came up the second time through. It's not extremely interesting, but it is if you're going for every video.
ThunderPeel2001
Cool, thanks for the info! I'm not sure, Thrik, but I *think* that the one you're missing is always the last one on your list? (Ie. Each video doesn't actually have its own slot?) Not sure, but the last three I've noticed have all been the last ones on that particular screen, even the ones I've (apparently) missed from early on. I'd like to play through it again and make sure, but I don't think I could spare another 30 hours! I guess it's probably quicker to complete once you know what's going on though? Thrik
It is most probably the bonus cutscene you get when you reach rank 100; I'm pretty sure that it appears under the Asylum category.
raven angle
oh okay! thanks for the reply, that had confused me for the longest time ^_^
Udvarnoky
It's true that the cutscenes are filed in your journal in the order they're triggered, so you can have some in different orders.
Jintor
They are? No way! That can't be right... *can't check because his copy of Psychonauts is currently addicting a friend*
ThunderPeel2001
Yep, I'm sure Udvarnoky is right, because all of the ones I'm missing are at the end of each section. I think someone actually made a list of all the videos, didn't they?
