Joe©
The old 90's movies are the best ever. Handsdown. You mean there was all that "sexual innuendo" and I missed it? *sigh* *goes and plays Aladdin backwards*
Det. Bart Lasiter
You have to have a lot of spare time and a bit of paranoia to pick up on the innuendo.
Bob Lion54
I too miss the old Disney days. I miss how they used to put sexual innuendo into their movies. Like the naked woman in The Rescuers, the phallic on the cover of the Little Mermaid video, sex being spelled out in the Lion King, and Aladdin saying something about good teenagers taking off their clothes and other such things. Yep, those were the days. Actually, If you haven't seen this, its pretty interesting. EDIT: Actually, you can see the picture of the naked lady in the Rescuers. Just to be safe, Im removing the link. Just google for it if your interested. Its kind of a blurry shot, but I don't want to post any thing thats not forum appropriate. Really though. I dont think its just Disney. To me, very few animated movies (or series, for that matter) are as good as they used to be.Then again, perhaps kids that are 5 now will be saying the same thing in 15years... Katarn07
Cartoons rock, the classics, not the modern cartoon crap, but the 90s cartoons rocked. Batman, Spiderman, X-men...good times, and the disney movie cartoons owned too. You forgot Gargoyles. Which unlike all the ones you just named was actually Disney. Of course, they ended up messing that up by getting rid of the creator for the third season (aka the Goliath Chronicles) and it ended right afterward. But look, even the ones you listed started to suck. I hated the "Gotham Knights" animation for the Batman cartoon, and don't get me started on "Batman Beyond." No, I haven't seen them myself, but the animation alone makes me sick.
Mike Windu
Batman cartoons never appealed to me much... I never liked the art style... "The Batman" series, the one, look ok... I've seen like two episodes, but they were pretty good. edit- keeps bothering me that no one's said this...but it's Aladdin, not Alladin
Katarn07
Hrm, I know this is going way off topic but I must defend one of the best TV shows ever made. B"The Batman" series, the one, look ok... I've seen like two episodes, but they were pretty good. Ugh. You compare "The Batman" (as in the WB show?) with the '90s animated series?! You had a problem with the art, but not with the new one? You must be joking. Plus, the originals were far better than the Burton films in terms of story and some rival that of Batman Begins!

What do you think about that?
RoxStar
Yes, that's why I think Disney should stop making kiddie cartoons entirely, and make sure that all its future films are rated either PG-13 or R. I second that, also, I think that Nickelodian Magazine should go porno since all of its original readers are older now PotC was acquired by Disney during production btw
