If you actually buy this, then you made there statistic in gimmic-marketing, and deserve the entire 100 dollars you are gonna pawn it off for within 2 months. Ill stick to my 64, cuz they obviously flopped on the gamecube also... prepare for Nintendo to sell out to the highest bidder after this BS de-rails miserablly...which it WILL. Waste your lunch money if ya want... but ppl with some sense wont even bother to mess with this.

mark . my. words.

a year from now you will be thanking me from talking you out of it.

But seriously, there's still things we don't know about the controller. I guess we'll know about them come next week at E3.

And yes, SPY, i'm with you. :p

Yes, cause now you can look and turn using the Revmote (right) and move around with the Analog attachment (left). Also I've just listened to IGN... Wii.. podcast, the editors pretty much confirmed at the Analog attachment does have motion sensing abilities like the Revmote.

Which means not only will you be able to look/turn with gestures, but now you could do so much more like jump, crouch, lean and much more without having to press any buttons at all.

Cartman quote: "oh totally awesome you guys" ,

This increases the user input exponentially (Yep exponentially, I did the calculations), besides i was wondering how you were expected to jump in Mario. I mean pressing a button to jump just wouldn't cut it :xp:

Back on the 'wii' subject, i don't know how many non-gamers they expect to lure with the name. I mean ppl who realise how good the console is, will buy it regardless of the name. But those ppl who Nintendo are supposedly tryin to attract into the gaming market wouldnt fancy the name so much.

@ abespam: Nope pressing buttons doesn't cut it at all. All of the regular folk out there don't like pressing buttons to perform live actions in a videogame, their response times are lacking compared to us. But what's been shown is that people who are new to gaming move their body to try to make the character move more than trying to press the buttons to make the character move.

I'm sure everyone here can agree that it takes a bit of learning to actually start playing videogames for the first time and to work it out... and most of us worked it out in a day when there were just 1 joystick/ d-pad and 1 or 2 action buttons to play with. Now we have controllers with analog sticks and triggers and all these buttons everywhere... it frightens and confuses much like Wii did when I first heard about it XD lol

But for experienced gamers, it does add more to our gaming exprience, you look at a lot of the games and you realise that too many actions are occuring with the press of a button that don't need to.

Its daft to make any declarations about the success/failure of the Revolution until after people have actually had a chance to experience it in action at E3. I think in a week or two we will have a much better idea of whether the revolution is a great idea that fails in practice.. or a great idea that fulfills it's potential.

I'm not going to say i'll definately get one.. or definately won't.. until i see how it works in practice.
