Can't they just bring back the rectanuglar nentendo controller? And Duck Hunt? I lurve Duck Hunt.

Wii's got this i-tunes like program where you can download games from all the way back to the NES. It's called Virtual Console. There's an attachment to the Wiimote that looks a bit like a a SNES controller that lets you play these games. Nintendo is fighting to get back the title of King of Video games and it's fighting with a storm.

PS3 would be okay if it weren't for the damn $500-$600 price tag. I need it if I want to play Sonic the Hedgehog 15th anniversery. No I don't like Xbox.

[rant] I'm revolted by how Sony attempts to rip off Nintendo with their lame-ass PlayStation controller version of the Wiimote. It's going to be half as good, and totally useless. All they’ve proven is that they’re a bunch of corporate whores with no ingenuity.

And seriously: $600?? Who's going to pay that? You could buy a 360 AND a Wii for less money, and be better off with all of Nintendo and Microsoft's exclusive titles. [/rant]

*ahem* In any case, we only have several more months until Wii is released. I can't wait.

Biased pricks must die.

PS3 is classified a fully fledged PC. People will buy it. opinons are not facts. Your logic is flawed. :firemad:

grr roar etc...

EDIT: buy a wii, they are good too.

He wasn't talking about the PS3, he was talking about the PS3 controller.

It has a motion dealy that lets a person rotate it at six different degrees. So he isn't biased, the PS3's motion sensor will just be half as good and no real competition is going to put it to use.

Of course it's flawed! Didn't you see my clever "[rant], [/rant]" tags? I was being unfair on purpose, to get out my temporary aggression against Sony for copying the Wiimote (though come on: it is a total rip-off). Sure, there are plenty of positive things regarding the PS3 and Sony in general. I actually own a PS2. So back off. :xp:

The Wii would be so much more awesome if it didn't have such a ridonkulous name.

Behold the philosophy of Wii.

Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else.

Wii will put people more in touch with their games … and each other. But you’re probably asking: What does the name mean?

Wii sounds like “we,” which emphasizes this console is for everyone.

Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.

Wow, I really hope you didn't come up with that yourself.

That would mean you were smart.

Uh oh. This just might(very small chance) could change the Wii.

The Wiimote get's all funky(like wireless mouses) when there are too many Halogen lights in the room.

Luckily don't live in Halogenia. You might though, sucks for you.
