AdventureLover Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Hi everyone, I usually hang out in the Grim Fandango forum, but i got some news that might interest you guys. I recently purchased issue no.127 of the magazine PC PowerPlay, and near the back of it, to my great happiness, I found a 4-page article on Sam and Max Hit The Road, a big interview with Steve Purcell. *smiles* Just so you know.
Scummbuddy Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 how about maybe producing some scans of the article, for us all to enjoy?
AdventureLover Posted June 19, 2006 Author Posted June 19, 2006 I'd love to, but i don't have a scanner
itchythesamurai Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Anti-climatic! Also, welcome to this neck of the woods.
AdventureLover Posted June 19, 2006 Author Posted June 19, 2006 *smiles* thank you. And when i said i don't have a scanner, that was sorta a half-truth. I do have access to one, and may be able to...well u know
AdventureLover Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 Okay now, Let's hope that this works. I'm really new to this sort of thing, so sorry if it doesn't turn out perfect. Oh, and I'd like to thank Vampirenaomi for the help. *smiles* http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/decredad/Tim_s01.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/decredad/Tim_s02.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/decredad/Tim_s03.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/decredad/Tim_s04.jpg
SyntheticGerbil Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I hate the word "snarky" and I hate the phrase "mind you." Anyways it was good. But someone stole Scummbuddy's DVD cover and published without permission!
Samnmax221 Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 But someone stole Scummbuddy's DVD cover and published without permission! Great now Gerbil's out looking for the guy with his crossbow. Nice article though.
Scummbuddy Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 First, thanks for the scans. Second, wow, Im surprised that they even used that graphic in their article. And for one thing, it isn't mine. They were created by Laserschwert and I was to use them in the DVD of the Sam and Max cartoons, but I never was able to find all of the episodes, and it didn't feel right to put them out there for everyone without them. I suppose I'm also just waiting for the people I told at Sullivan Entertainment that TellTale has the rights to the new game and they should really coincide a DVD release of the episodes at the same time.
AdventureLover Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 *smiles* No problem. I actually bought the magazine just for that one article.
itchythesamurai Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Nifty! Thanks for the read! Also, good luck with the DVD, Scummbuddy. Some of the episodes didn't really win me over, but there are enough gems in the bunch for me to more than willingly slap down some cash.
