However, nothing beats german engineering. Mauser Kar98K ftw! Give me one of those and I'll win ye a war! To the one that said the BAR is a cool weapon, I used to think so back in the days too. Then I began to read my father's books on WWII and started playing the realism mod for BF1942, Forgotten Hope. Turns out the thing is pretty sucky. Too heavy to be a rifle, not enough bullets per cartridge to properly give support fire, the BAR was a rather lousy weapon. Yeah, back in my days of Forgotten Hope, I kept on avoiding the class that gave you a BAR. 20 bullets don't last long and you're not accurate enough. No sense of appreciation for the simplicity of a 2-shot breechloading, sawed off piece steel and wood, finely crafted into one honkin' big piece of whoop-a**. Besides, up close and personal-like. Well, like I already said to some people, you'd have to get close enough to use that shotgun against me and by the time you did that I'd kill you about ten times with my W2000 sniper.
