Rise of the Sith Dominion

Strider deactivated his blade. He trusted Riebe's choice. Katherine blinked, seeing Strider back down as almost unbelievable to her, but she knew by his expression as he turned past her that he had his reasons; that was enough for her. She turned and followed behind him, not looking back at Danni and Tepe, tucking her blade up on a holster underneath her bracer.

Kin sensed the tension of the situation relax. "Raek," he said, turning. "Let's head for the landing pad. Strider and Riebe are returning." He had observed how the two called each other "Sister" and "Brother", but he would feel awkward calling them that, since they were slightly older and more experienced than him. So he used their first names as he always had.

Kin strode out of the door, lightsaber humming, in case he was challenged.

'I will never be safe...' Tepe contacted to Riebe as the Sith Hunters left and stood up straight, relaxing and deactivating his lightsabers. As he placed the hilts on his belt, the Commander came back, again walking past the Hunters and to his Lord.

"Sire, most of the troops have been withdrawn. The only patrolling units are currently airborne with a simple lightly armed scout company to back them up. The civilians are still outside but now ready to be taken back into the city. The other troops are currently transporting to the Battleship" the commander said and bowed. Tepe nodded and looked at Charna.

"How about the fleet, commander?" he asked, turning back to see the soldier.

"Arriving shortly, sire. I just recieved word that there are currently a smaller fleet arriving right behind them to conquer the planet while the larger is reserved for Lady Charna" the Commander answered and looked at Charna.

"Good. Let the civilians inside, withdraw the patrols and let the Sith hunters pass. Your soldiers will not beat them. We leave as soon as possible. Contact the ships to set course for Kamino and to let the Ragnarok to leave the planet peacefully" the Dark Lord said and the commander bowed before walking away to fulfill his commands. Tepe turned to Charna and nodded in approval.

"You did better than I expected. We willnow travel to the cloning facilities of Kamino where we will meet your fellow apprentice and initiate the making of a small police force for the conquered planets. I will travel with you onboard the Battleship while my Sphere will fly solo there accompanied by your fleet. We may go throught some questions while in hyperspace, including your wish for a command ship and the colour of your new lightsaber or how you wish to modify your fleet. I wiash you to be honest and direct to me, even if I am your master. The Sith Dominion will be a Meritocracy and your words and actions will have effects in how I make my decisions on things. Once we have made it clear to the Republic we mean business and have taken both Kamino and Rothana, both of you, my apprentices, will have a word in should we continue the war or not. But even if we continue, Ossus will not be a target unless I give clear orders on it. Now go off to your shuttle and fly it to the Battleship. I will meet you there" Darth Tepe said and left outside to meet a group of soldiers wearing the prototypes of the new police force armors. He smiled and nodded before everyone loaded on a speeder and left for the battleship. Meanwhile the sandstorm gave way and the Interdictor and his Meditation Sphere came to view if you knew where to look. They would leave for space as soon as the Ragnarok had left and the fleets had arrived.

------

Meanwhile, near Kamino, a part of Kaoin's fleet jumped out of hyperspace while the other part went for Rothana. Fighters poured out of the hangars to escort and make way for he dropships that started the First Battle of Kamino of this new war. The conquest would be swift unless a Republic outpost had been created there at some point. On the bridge of the Sith's flagship stood a lone mercenary and the future of the Sith Dominion police forces: Andra Grilios. He was to become first of all the prime clone and then the Head of SDPF (Sith Dominion Police Forces) once it was done. He was a man from Corellia with large records of well done hits on very important targets.

He would train stealth and how to use the agility of a human being to it's full extent while mandalorians would be hired to make sure the clones would be good soldiers when it came to fighting large forces of enemies. Also, the force-sensitiveness of the Prime clone and injections of midichlorians, based on the research made by the Empire when at it's peak, would mean they were to be trained in lightsaber combat to be able in fighting jedi. Now especially that Ruusan was under the Dominion control, they would slowly start mass-producing lightsabers with Ruusan crystals that would even more enhance the connection with the force of the Police Force troops.

Strider led them on board to the Ragnarok. He sent a mental message to the other two Hunters to head back. He waited at the bottom of the entry ramp for them to arrive, let them go up, and was the last one to board the ship behind the others, making sure they left none behind.

As he boarded the ship, he remained quiet. His mind was on something, as all the others could tell.

Katherine looked at Strider, then to the other Hunters. She speculated that Strider was bothered by missing his chance to duel Tepe, but wasn't too sure. Strider turned and looked directly at her, his eyes clearly denying her thoughts, but not in a harsh rejective manner, but as a reassurance that is not what is present on his mind. Katherine nodded, quite used to Strider's cryptic nature when it came to what he was thinking about.

'You did very well, my friend. I could feel you coming closer but you put it aside. I am very honored to know someone like you. It is very unfortunate that you must be on the other side' Tepe's voice rang in strider's head and this time not only did he send an image, but an image of himself bowing to him in slight awe of the Sith Hunter. Then the connection broke as the Sith Fleet left hyperspace infront of them but just went past the Ragnarok like it wasn't there or unimportant to them. Once the Ragnarok had left the planet's orbit, the sith Battleship, the Interdictor and the Sphere left for space with everyone aboard, including the Dark Lord and his apprentice. Once the ships had joined the fleet, another fleet entered the system and started the landing on Ruusan to take control of it. Charna's fleet entered hyperspace shortly after the landing had began.

------

Darth Tepe watched at the passing stars on the bridge of the Battleship. He still wore his armor and wouldn't change it for anything else for some time, as he would be joining the battlefield and wouldn't want to die from a lucky shot by a Kaminoan. He turned to his apprentice and smiled.

"I can sence you have many question you need answers to. I hope I can be to your assistance. First of all you were chosen because you are an individual who wants to go to places. I knew you could not resist the chair left to my throne and neither could Kaoin when he joined me in my plans of pitting ourselves against the Republic when it's at it's weakest" he said and nodded to her. He waited for her questions to come pouring out if she had any he could answer.

------

When Kaoin entered the space near Kamino, the connections beeped open as his second-in-command of the fleet contacted them. He saluted him and the others on the ship while a squadron of fighters left a nearby carrier to escort the Sith's ship.

"Good day, sire! Welcome to Kamino. The situation is currently slightly aginst us but after we get the heavier weaponry down there we will tip the balance to our sides. The enemy fighters are currently disturbing the landing but our squadrons should be able to knock the enemies from the skies. I welcome you onboard to meet our Prime Clone, sire" he said, bowed and cut the connection as the shuttle was heading swiftly for the hangars of the battleship.

"Well, we've had our 'second interview' with Darth Tepe," Reibe said softly. "We've seen that he's turned a friend into an enemy. Now, with the Jedi suspecting us for the death of the Council on Coruscant, we will no longer be welcome there. From there, they will mount an attack on Tepe and his army. We already know they will fail and it will cause Tepe to attack Ossus."

She shook her head slightly. "I'm not going to let that happen." She paused, allowing that statement to sink in. Then, she went on. "If I'm not mistaken, that's where Skywalker is. Of all the Masters of the New Order, he knows me the best and would have the hardest time believing me capable of turning on the order so violently. He'll want proof we didn't and I'm willing to give it to him."

She stood and began pacing restlessly. Then, she stopped. "The Jedi have been the keepers of peace in the galaxy for millenia. The Sith Hunters have taken the war to the Sith for two-thousand years. Now, the Sith Hunters are being restored to their position. As our leader, I will not let the Jedi lose theirs."

Turning to Strider, she ordered, "Lay in a course for Ossus. We're paying Skywalker a little visit."

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Charna stood not far from Tepe, considering his offer to answer her questions. Then, she nodded.

"In history, the Sith have been bloodthirsty and careless," she said. "It's one of their greatest downfalls, I think. But that's one of the reasons I chose to follow you. You are bloodthirsty when necessary, but never careless. And when Reibe told you a man is most vulnerable where he feels safe, I sensed your amusement. You know safety's not an option... not with apprentices who think like the Sith always have, not with the Sith Hunters becoming more active."

She knew she hadn't yet asked a question, but one was coming. "You've shown me what you have planned for the galaxy and I feel honored to be a part of that plan. I'm just curious; how long have you been planning all of this?"

"To be stricktly honest, it's been in my head only for the last year. Before that I just approached for the position on the Sith Leading Council that's based on Roon and to lead a criminal empire to corrupt the Republic. If you must know, as the jedi don't probably know this, Roon is the central planet in the Cloak of the Sith. A sanctuary of sorts. You will be sent there eventualy to ahieve the status of a Sith Master" he said and took a step towards her, a sleek smile on his face.

"I'm glad you see my ways. I represent a minority of the Sith who hide inside the Cloak of the Sith. I will also request from you that you will not harm the civilians. I have seen the ways of Palpatine and the effects of the Tarkin Doctrine. As an old friend of mine living beyond the Unknown regions once told me a local saying: Divide et impera, Divide and Rule. The point is, that if we concentrate on all planets as individuals more than as the Sith Dominion and give them different things as rewards, we can maintain a stable society. This is something Palpatine never got, even if he was one of the best strategists in the rows of the Sith. He was too greedy. Unfortunately, it is most proable that at some point we must also fight my old master who is in charge of the Imperial Remnants. I would not be surprised to see his ships with Republic ones when they come to take their planets back" he said and turned back to see the space. The commander walked by to check up on the state of radiness of the troops if they would need further assistance on Kamino. Tepe signalled for the Commander to come over and he did, bowing as he stopped infront of his Lord.

"You did well down there, Commander. And for that, you are now a Colonel and have been transferred to the 2nd army"

"2nd army, sire? Is that not one of your armies?"

"Yes, Colonel, it is. Any more questions?"

"well... Should I not be a major, sire?"

"Are you resisting the skipping of one rank, Colonel?"

"No, sire! Thank you, sire"

"Good. You are dismissed"

The newly promoted Colonel bowed and left the bridge. The Dark Lord chuckled and turned to see Charna.

"Keep good ties to your officers. They will not be loyal unless you give them the respect they need from their superior officer. Fear is a way to rule, but a wrong way in the Sith Dominion military" he said and nodded to her for the next question.

Strider merely lifted a finger upwards at a speaker, and at that instant, the Ragnarok's navigation computer responded over intercom in a female voice to Riebe's order.

"Setting Main Course to Ossus, Entering Hyperspace."

With that, the Ragnarok leapt into hyperspace, directed to Ossus.

As the Ragnarok travelled to Ossus, Strider paced the room for a second, thinking. Finally, he stopped and turned to the group.

"If we get Skywalker's aid...you will probably be allowed to rejoin the order if you wish, so if anyone's been having cold feet about the Hunters, let us know now," Strider said, his eyes glancing over the group of young Hunters. He didn't think any of them wanted to, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask anyway, should they still be concerned about their future with the Jedi.

Katherine looked back at him and just shook her head. "I've made my decision and I stand by it," she said boldly. Strider nodded, knowing already well his new "apprentice" would tag along. She was quiet, and with that silence, a secret boldness and bravery hid - he knew very well she was looking for a broader view of the Galaxy than the narrowminded ones that the Jedi Masters would teach.

Charna smiled thoughtfully. "The Dark Side is strong," she said, "but the downfall of the Sith has been that they let the power consume them. You control the power. It does not control you. That is how I want to be. And for that reason, I will do as you say."

"That is one advantage the Jedi always had over the Sith," she went on. "Unity. The Sith have been so intent on snapping at each other that they could scarce see the problems at hand. That's why the Sith Hunters did so well." She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "An advantage they've held until now. The Jedi of Coruscant will want to wage war. They'll think the Sith Hunters have joined you. Skywalker on Ossus will be much more hesitant to believe this."

Turning away to look out into space, she went on. "That's where they'll go next. They'll do what they can to convince Skywalker they were not responsible and then, when the majority of the order strikes at the Dominion, Skywalker and those on Ossus will take flight, vanishing until the time they feel they're best prepared to fight... though who exactly they'll be fighting is a mystery."

She laughed at the thought of Jedi fighting Jedi. "By the time Skywalker comes out with his group to fight, the Jedi of Coruscant will think he's turned against them too." Smiling, she observed, "For once, the Jedi will be divided and the Sith will stand united."

"Nobody controls the Dark Side. Not even me. I suppress my anger and go back to my days as a jedi, training to become a Jedi Councellor. Those are the learning I use mostly when I strategise. You would think I am fully connected to the Dak Side, but actually I have better ties to the Light than the Dark, even if I am a powerful Sith Lord" Darth Tepe said and walked towards the window of the bridge, showing the outside of the ship. He looked at the stars going past them and sighed.

"The jedi will not turn against their Grand Master and the founder of the New Order. Skywalker is a powerful name and even if jedi would turn against Luke, his sister would intervene and quell the 'resistance' with the help of the other old Rebellion leaders. To be quite straight with you, Charna, I am in great debt and awe to Master Skywalker. He first of all destroyed the power o the empire by turning his father back from the Sith ways, which also helped me in coming as powerful as I am and then by creating this Jedi Order. If he would not be there to lead the Jedi, I would have absolutely no challenge in my conquest. At least Riebe and Strider are there to challenge my wits for now" he chuckled and turned to see her with a bit of melancholy in his voice.

"I have known Riebe for quite some time now. Ever since Rythe brought me to Welmin's Cantina, at least. It would be a shame to kill her off like I did to Kin's master. However, I know someone I might be able to use in the group for my cause. Strider is in between his bloodlust and his loyalty to Riebe and the Sith Hunter code. It will take some time, as he is powerful, but I think I just might manage to get enought rage to surface so I can just pull him in like a fish on the lakes of Naboo... Oh, how I miss Naboo landscapes. I should conquer it so I can enjoy it once again" he said and turned again to see the space as the stars slowed down.

"Starting jumping out of hyperspace" an officer said and the fleet jumped out of hyperspace, right next to Kaoin's fleet.

------

As the Ragnarok made it's way throught hyperspace, the travel came to a sudden stop as an Interdictor paired with two carriers and a Battleship drew it out. The ship was scanned and the Captain of the Interdictor contacted the crew.

"You have been reported to our Lord of passing throught Sith Dominion space. Lucky for you we have orders to let you pass freely. Have a nice day" the captain said and the connection was cut. A squadron of fighters flew past but then everything was quiet as the ships let them pass

Strider grunted, taking manual control of the Ragnarok, and continued it on its flight path to Ossus before setting it back into autopilot. He stood back up and walked into the main room with the other Hunters again, where they were discussing a battle plan should they get into a fight with the Sith.

At the thought of fighting them, his mind jerked into a flashback - playing back the last moments of Strider's and what appeared to be his old friend, Cylia's, battle against Dark Jedi that had surrounded them. In the heat of battle, Strider was suddenly restrained through the Force by a Sith Lord - the very one he once trained under as a Sith. He saw himself being bound to a wall, unable to move, only watch, as his best friend suffered a slow death before his very eyes by the Sith Lord.

Strider's hand gripped into a firm fist. The others could see his expression - his eyes closed, teeth gritted. Strider let out a shout and slammed his fist into the side of the doorway he was standing on. The metal did not dent, but did make a considerably loud resounding bang. Strider's breathing became shallow, he looked back up, seeing the rest of the group look at him.

Why was this memory haunting him?

Suddenly he saw something else. This was not a memory. This was a vision.

Strider saw himself alone in a room. There was a mirror, and in his reflection, he saw himself, but something was different about his reflection. His eyes were not blue. They were gold in color, surrounded by bloodshot eyes- like a Sith's. His reflection returned his blank gaze with an evil smirk, and stepped forth out of the mirror. This evil form of him reared back with a fist and plunged it into Strider's chest, which went entirely inside of him.

For a moment, Strider felt himself being taken over by his anger and hatred for the Sith. Both of his hands now rested on the doorway, his body loosened a little before soon falling forward onto the ground, his eyes closed and his body still. He lay there, not moving, his body only slightly showing life through the slow heave of his back as he breathed. Within a few moments, Strider's eyes opened once again. His expression was full of confusion. "What is happening to me...?" he muttered to himself slowly, before slowly attempting to get up. He stumbled some, and Katherine rushed over to help him to his feet, putting one of his arms around her shoulder and lifting him up, his other hand using the doorway for support. None had ever seen him like this, not even Riebe. Strider's eyes blinked, slowly regaining his composure, he stood without Katherine's aid.

Without saying anything, only looking at the rest of the Hunters' eyes, assuring them he'd be fine, he turned and slowly made his way back into the cockpit, sitting down in his pilot's seat, watching the Ragnarok's continued descension to Ossus.

The Dark Lord suddenly jerked back as a strong power unleashed itself over Ossus. He could feel it well. Well enought that a pain rushed throught his chest like an old, rusty knife. He slumped back but placed his foot down so he wouldn't fall the whole way. He grunted and looked at Charna before rushing out with a simple "Take over" as his last words. At that instance, the Colonel followed his Lord out while the captain of the ship walked to Charna to inform her of the Ragnarok's travel to Ossus.

Tepe walked swiftly to a small, private room and set himself down with his back to the small window showing the planet Kamino and the fight going on around it. He fell into a deep meditation. The Colonel opened the door but after seeing his Lord, he left and ordered two guards not to let anyone disturb the meditation. He himself would also be standing on watch. The Dark Lord could sence the power emitting from Strider, and sighed

Strider gripped the controls of the Ragnarok, taking into manual control and bringing the ship down through the atmosphere and onto a landing pad at the nearest space station, after getting landing clearance. It seemed less smooth than his previous ones, and they all heard him shout an apology from the cockpit. The loading ramp dropped, and Strider walked, his steps slowly regaining their strength, out of the cockpit. "We've arrived on Ossus," he said shortly, and descended the ramp, looking around to assure it was clear. "Alright..let's go to the temple. If we are attacked by Jedi...set your lightsabers to give only mild burns, or, if you can, just remove their weapons, I do not want any Jedi to fall by our hands unless we absolutely have no other choice," he said, his voice regaining its previous firmness.

Riebe nodded her agreement and moved down the ramp. A few curious Jedi gathered around the ship, but they kept their distance. In a hushed voice, Riebe told her fellow Sith Hunters, "Keep your hands well away from your lightsabers. We don't want to give the wrong idea."

She kept hers crossed behind her back as she walked. Finally, they were stopped by Kyle Katarn.

"We've heard news from Coruscant," he said, not unkindly. "Luke isn't convinced, but many of the others are. I can't guarantee your safety if you pass me."

"If you come with us, you can," Riebe answered evenly. "But safety or not, I will see Skywalker. And I should think that, being the Grand Master, he ought to have enough control over his subordinates to keep them from attacking."

"And yet so many Jedi are turning to the Dark Side lately," Kyle murmured. "Follow me."

He led them through the training facility, past the stares of many Jedi, young and old. Most were filled with curiosity; several were accusing. Finally, they entered a long, tall room. Luke Skywalker sat, meditating at the other end of it. As the small party drew nearer, Luke spoke.

"You are now openly Sith Hunters," he said softly. "Reassure me you are not also hunting Jedi."

Riebe moved before him and knelt there. "I'm going to open my mind to you, kid. It's the best I can do to convince you we're not against you."

Luke smiled faintly at being called 'kid' by the woman who appeared to be nineteen and reached out his hand, lightly touching her forehead. Images flashed through his head; the Sith Hunters' refusal to give up their lightsabers; how Danni had turned the Council against them; the historian's arrival and words. Finally, Luke retracted his hand and opened his eyes.

"My taking a stand against the Jedi who claim this was your deed will sway many of the others," he said quietly. "But others will not care. The Dark Side will use them to bring an attack upon us here at Ossus."

"I have sensed as much," Riebe agreed. "Be aware, Skywalker. Be ready to leave if necessary. When the time comes, know you can count on us... but also keep this in mind: we are Sith Hunters once more. No longer do we take orders from the Jedi. Our natural habits include fighting and that's exactly what we'll do... once the real fight begins. Compassion or not, Tepe is still Sith. And though he was in no way responsible for what the Sith did to us, he still must be dealt with, as all Sith must."

"The Jedi cannot support you in battle," Luke cautioned. "We are peacekeepers and I feel it's important, now more than ever that we hold to that."

"There will be no negotiations with him," Riebe objected. "If you can't recognize that a war has begun and must be fought to regain peace, then they will overrun you."

Luke closed his eyes wearily. "I have to try," he finally said. "I wish you all the best of luck in your struggle, my Hunter friends. May the Force be with you."

Frustrated, Riebe echoed his words and stalked out of the hall. Just as they reached the ship, they were smoothly intercepted by Kyle Katarn and a young woman.

"Hunters, a few of you may remember Jahara," he said, gesturing to the girl. She smiled, running a hand through her short brown hair. "She was Danielle Bayers' best friend."

"And she wants to come, does she?" Riebe asked. Jahara nodded, but Riebe shook her head. "Tepe is no pushover. And Charna will be no joke by the time we get them in position to fight again. Sorry, kid, but you can best serve the galaxy where you are."

"I'm not a kid," twenty-one year old Jahara retorted. Kyle laughed.

"Jahara," he said, "to Riebe, I'm a kid." To Riebe, he said, "Don't you see? She's got just the kind of fiery energy you do. She'd have made a good Jedi, but..."

"Oh, so that's what this is about," Riebe chuckled. "Kid wants to join the Sith Hunters to get a shot at saving her friend." She leaned closer to Jahara and pulled the girl down to her eye level to look deep into her eyes.

I will not hold back. Your training will be fast and brutal, but efficient. You will learn more in a day from me than you would in a month from the Jedi. I will push you to be more than you think you can be.

"I'm tough," Jahara answered aloud. "Do your worst."

Riebe laughed. "Oh, my dear girl. I'll do my best. And you will learn." To Kyle, she said, "Was good to see you, kid. Thanks for giving up one of your best to us. We can use all the help we can get."

Kyle chuckled. "I'd offer more, but the others are rather intimidated by you. And Jahara insisted... she's quite stubborn."

"Good," Riebe said. "She'll need that stubbornness. Well, let's go."

And she boarded the Ragnarok, Jahara following her closely.

((Kind of an interesting potential situation. Katherine and Jahara vs. Charna, Riebe and Strider vs. Tepe, and Raek and Kin, vs. all other Dark Jedi opponents... looks to be a chaotic few posts when that all comes about :D ))

Strider remained quiet most of the time. He didn't want to draw attention to himself while around Luke. Although Skywalker had personally redeemed him into the order, that was one of the main reasons Strider wished to hide his personal conflict from him. As Jahara joined them, he only nodded in acceptance of the arrival of a new member. He walked onto the ship, sitting quietly in the pilot seat, looking over at the empty copilot seat for a moment, before putting his hands on the controls. He waited for everyone to board, and for Riebe to give him a destination.

As the Ragnarok reached upper orbit, a lone Venator-class Star Destroyer jumped out of hyperspace and then a lone Theta-class shuttle launched from it, passing the Ragnarok and flying down towards the Jedi Praxeum. As the shuttle landed, there were jedi greeting it, ready for a fight, but instead of a group of people coming out, Emukiel walked down the ramp and towards the building while the jedi stood in slight awe of him and the srong force aura surrounding him. He was so calm to be a sith, if he indeed had become one. Kyle Katarn stepped infront of the old man, blocking his route to see Luke. Before Kyle could say anything, the old Weequay took his hand and placed a holodisc on it.

"I bring peace to the jedi minds. The Dark Lord of the Sith, Second in charge of the Great Sith Council, Count of Tibrin and Lord of the Sith Dominion hereby ceases the interruption of hyperspace routes to this planet and gives the planet of Ossus immunity. He hopes you will find this acceptable and will be taking in negotiators, who at this time should not be Sith Hunters, from the Jedi Order in exactly a week after his campaigns are finished and a stable Sith Dominion society will have been created" he said in a loud manner so the jedi nearby could hear him and then leaving back to the shuttle. It was a speedy exit from the planet, just as it had been a speedy arrival. The shuttle soared throught the atmosphere andlanded inside the Venator before the ship would jump into hyperspace again.

------

Tepe concentrated his mind on the source of immense power and found out what was causing a disturbance in the force. He had had a feeling at the bridge of who it might be, but now it was clear to him. So... The great Sith Hunter called Strider was ready to fall. It would be easy to disturbe him more to gain a hold on him, but he would do no such thing. He had banned the hunters from the Jedi Order, making them a massive threat to himself and by making one of them fall to the Dark Side and use his rage might backfire on him the next time they met. He stood up and looked out the window before leaving the room and looking at the Colonel.

"Contact the Weequay and tell him to get back to Tibrin and start the next step of this conquest. Let him build the society, Just make sure my Generals keep an eye out on him and his commands. I don't want this to fail, Colonel" he said and the colonel bowed, leaving for his quarters to give out the orders. The two guards were dismissed and left as Tepe walked back to the bridge. As he entered, the captain walked over to he and Charna.

"Sire, Lady, we have taken the factories. Most opposition has been quelled and the planet is safe for you. We have left Tipoca City alone and have only secured the airspace and a landing pad for both you and Lord Kaoin" the man said and bowed. Tepe nodded and looked at Charna.

"Ready a shuttle then. We're going down to have a word with the Prime Minister on making an order" the Dark Lord said and walked off the bridge and towards the hangars, signalling Charna to follow. They would meet Kaoin down on the planet

((Nar Shaddaa will do fine... at some point, we're going out to Riebe's favorite planet on the Outer Rim... Watchtower, known oh so long ago as Gerv. But to Nar Shaddaa first.))

Riebe closed her eyes for a moment and considered all possible destinations. They could go to Coruscant, but if they did, the Jedi there would be sure to hinder their movements in every way possible. Corellia was a possibility, but Riebe wanted information not readily available in such a clean place as Coronet... clean? Riebe smiled slightly.

"Nar Shaddaa," she said quietly. "All rotten to hell, but a good source of information."

She opened her eyes and grinned devilishly. "Oh, I missed being a Sith Hunter and no more... let's go scare some crooks."

The shuttle set itself down steadily on a landing platform of Tipoca City. It was a mess compared to what it had been during and before the Clone Wars. The Rebel Alliance had destroyed many cloning facilities after the final victory over Coruscant and the formation of the New Republic. The Empire had once quelled a resistance there and those damages were still barely repaired. Now a powerful Sith Lord had come, causing more chaos and destroyal of the world. However, these could be repaired as he came with a lot of money behind him and an order for clones that would revitalize the Kaminoan economy in one large blow.

The shuttle ramp lowered and a squad of soldiers came out to secure the platform while Charna and Tepe headed for the door that opened for them. A tall creature waited for them there while Kaoin's shuttle landed on the second landing platform nearby. The door closed and the sounds of the sea were silenced.

"Good day, sir. How may I help you?" the Kaminoan said and bowed her head slightly to them. Tepe bowed back and smiled at the Kaminoan.

"I am here to place an order for your cloning facilities"

"I am afraid we cannot do that. The New Republic has given straight orders not to start any cloning. Also, our cloning facilities have been destroyed"

"The New Republic no longer controls you. The Sith Dominion has invaded your planet and that is why I have come here personally. I have enought money for you to repair your cities and build the required facilities. We offer you money and protection from the New Republic strike forces that might be willing to destroy your cities again, you give the Dominion 20,000 troops within 10 years from the completion of your facilities. You give me the plans for the facilities and I will give you the prime clone and all the workers you need. I have many planets' populations and unused soldiers that need the work" the Sith Lord said and a glaced glance filled the Kaminoan's eyes. Tepe chuckled and looked at Charna.

"It seems we have a deal" Tepe said and followed the Kaminoan as she led them first to meet Kaoin and then up to see the prime minister

"Aye, but we still have to deal with the New Republic. The jedi won't be a problem for a while. First they need to gather a new Master's Council and then decide what to do with my offering of full freedom to Ossus and the Jedi Praxeum. It will take them at least a month for that. The Senate is more problematic. With Leia standing behind her brother in the case that the Republic and Jedi Order should keep peace, it'll be split with those who want a war and those who see no problem with a few systems falling into Sith hands just as long as it means peace will reign" Tepe said and looked at his apprentices walking behind him.

"And these won't be any clones. They will be the core of this Dominion by keeping the people happy and obeying the rules set by planetary governments and by the Interplanetary government. Some of them will become your most trusted bodyguards, some of the later clone bunches will become your elite strike forces armed with the best weaponry we can get and transported with the best equipment Rothana can make" the Dark Lord explained and looked back forwards at the Kaminoan who led them swiftly throught the mazes of corridors. Currently they were going throught an old observation pipe throught a facility blown up when the New Republic took over. When the Sith Dominion would get it's hands on the facility plans, it could make these facilities everywhere and with some of the buildrs being spies to learn how to control the machines and grow the clones, they could still mke clones even without Kamino
