mimartin
It hasn't jumped the shark you noob. It is still drawing good ratings. SciFi just wants to make room for newer programs. Such as "wrestling" Which I think is stupid, because it has nothing to do with SciFi. Forgive my ignorance in the way of Sci-Fi television. I did not realize I had to have a Masters in Sci-Fi channel knowledge to comment here. As I said above in this thread I love this show. I thought the 200th show was great, I’m a little upset that Sci-Fi would pull the plug after the set up they gave it the other night (I’m talking about how the channel promoted the 200th). I was commenting on something I thought was untrue when I read it on 8/18/2006, but looks truer today. The rating must not be that great or they would continue the show (I do have a Masters in Finance), unless the cost of the show outweighs the amount advertiser are willing to pay. I agree wresting is a stupid thing for Sci-Fi channel to show, but wresting like reality TV is very cheap to produce. The almightier Dollar wins out over the Sci-Fi viewer. swphreak
I wouldn't be suprised if another network picks it back up. Stargate is still popular, and will make whatever network that picks it up rich (as long as the show is run the way it is). As long as they conclude the current story arc and tie up the loose ends, I'll be happy. IF not, I will go ape**** on SciFi.
The Scriblerian
I loved the episode, i thought it was very well planned, and had a lot of good humor involved. Having O' Neil show up helped a lot too. That whole show is great.
HerbieZ
I love stargate but ever since season 8, it has slowly gone downhill. Im not a big fan of the whole "Fargate" thing as i think Ben Browder cannot act for beans and vala whateverhernameis is an un-needed addition just so the audience see a dynamic between browder and her. However, i love Atlantis, they really have that show nailed and i love the whole atmosphere. My favourite tv series by far.
Fealiks
Isn't Sky One most up to date with the Stargate episodes? Yeah, but not that up-to-date... is it? Most US shows (which is practically everything on TV anywhere) air about a month or more after their US airing in the UK. I think.
St. Jimmy
argh! stupid late-to-air Australian tv... Stargate rawks but it's on real late here AND we're behind in the episodes.
Anglu
So are we... as a Stargate fan in Germany you need much of patience... I'm not sure, if I knew even the second half of the 8th season...
