Kurgan Posted October 1, 2006 Author Share Posted October 1, 2006 Well I don't know if the reason we didn't get many people was because people didn't know how to install JK2MotS or what, but we played that for awhile then we played regular MotS until I got too tired (heh). I'll be setting up the server shortly (within an hour) and then the process will begin again! Any requests? Should I run JK2MotS again? Just standard MotS maps? Kurgan Posted October 1, 2006 Author Share Posted October 1, 2006 Installing JK2MotS is painfully easy, it's explained in 2 sentences on the guy's page, but I'll just basic maps again just in case anyone can't figure that out. But please, everyone get the taunt pack: http://www.jediknight.net/hiss/server/arnoldtaunts.zip It's super funny and only 1.8 megs. Unzip into Resource\sound just like it says in the readme txt. Kurgan Posted October 1, 2006 Author Share Posted October 1, 2006 Well I'm at work now, the server is up. Before I left I put it up on Cloud City Gantry, and the next map after that is Spaceport. It's probably rotated beyond that by now, but stick around, a lot of cool maps that we don't always get to... Enjoy! We can play JK2MotS when I come back unless people want to do something else. I have one more errand to run and then I'll be home, but I'll hurry it up if the server is being loopy or something. I apologize if it prevents anyone getting on. Btw, can anyone head to NarShaddaa.net's IRC and recruite some people to join the server? Apparently there are people there 7-11pm EASTERN time, according to a guy I talked to on that forum. Im thinking of getting into making some new maps to spiff things up on are weekends. Add a variety of maps you know. Since the map packs for mots are not so great so ill try a shot at it.
