Datheus
http://theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=34915 Wow, too bad Windows Aero can be TURNED OFF. The Inquirer is going to make me grind my teeth into dust. They're one, big joke. I'm fairly certain that these "journalists" do ZERO research. Pie™
As an aspiring journalist, I just have to say that reading this article hurts me deep inside. That's the worst written article I've ever had the misfortune of reading.

BongoBob
Well, I just recently got rid of my Vista RC1 installation, because even with Aero off, games were just unplayable at points. But, I'll chock that up to them being made to run on XP and not on Vista.
Davinq
See this, at the top of the page? News, reviews, facts, and friction The truth: News, reviews, facts, and fiction. I feel the same way Pie, this article (screw that, their whole damn site) is an insult to journalism. The Inquirer is the equivalent to my writing an article about MrWally; I have no information about him. Ahem... [inquirerJournalist] MrWally is the president of his local soccer club. While he hates his primary job as a CFO at AquaStar Seafoods, he gets paid extraordinarily high wages, and lives in a mansion of a house, with his wife and two kids. He has recently won the lottery, and it is widely believed that he cheated his way there. You see, MrWally is also widely known as the world's biggest cheater, and we somehow just know that he got the winning ticket through his cheat code sorcery.[/inquirer] Just posting an example Wally, no offense meant in any way or form. Dagobahn Eagle
The article really reminded me of the "articles" in the underground magazine "Radio Times" in Out of Order (Google it, it's good:)!). Seriously, it read like a parody of a news article. We are preparing to check this claimMaybe an idea to do that before you publish the article:D. Dagobahn Eagle
OK, I figured I couldn't judge the whole site by one article, so I go to the front page. What's the first thing I see? European voting machines flawed, easily manipulated Vote Bush Monday 09 October 2006, 16:15 Er, objectivity:rofl:? And further down: Google's source code search gives hackers a field day D'Oh! Monday 09 October 2006, 09:04 Formal journalism, fair and biased:rolleyes:.

Datheus
Anyway, back on subject, I'm using Microsoft's speech recognition software. I even used it to navigate to this web page. Hell, I'm using it right now to type this post. It is a little time intensive, but I think it is pretty nifty. Of course, I sound a little like a Microsoft fanboy, but I have never used speech recognition. Really it kind of sucks. Perhaps I will play death metal and see what it types. BongoBob
Drivers are probably the issue here. Yeah, thats what I was thinking. They are beta drivers for a beta OS afterall. Perhaps I will play death metal and see what it types. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT!
