Make Prime speak!

Yeah so, I found out that the Transformers movie was putting out a contest for one line in the movie for Optimus Prime to speak. Pretty awesome, I thought.

It's unfortunately too late to submit entries to make Optimus Prime speak in the new Transformers movie, but you can view the voting results! Voting ends in 3 days and guess what's the number one phrase?

Well, I'm not gonna tell you. :xp:http://www.transformersmovie.com

I must say, I'm very very pleased. :D

DO A BARREL ROLL!

Yeah, those ytmnd people having fun at the expense of the movie. Although it would be funny, i dunno what context they'd put it in since all the autobots are ground-based. Maybe if Starscream is chasing some US fighter planes or something, and optimus goes "Do a barrel roll!"

I wonder if the writers will actually put it in. I think somewhere in the fine print it says they don't have to if it doesn't fit.

We have a couple of trademark news items. The first one was reported by Monzo of Allspark.com. Monzo discovered a listing for STARSCREAM BARREL ROLL BLASTER on U.S. Trademark Application Website. The description for the product is "toy vehicles that convert into toy dart shooters and foam toy darts for use therewith."

The next trademark news item has been reported by Transformers @ The Moon. According to Transformers @ The Moon, Hasbro's trademark application for Soundbite has been assigned to an examiner, which means the process to decide whether to grant Hasbro trademark or not has begun.

This isn't a coincidence. lol.

Probably some stupid one-liner. They'd be better off just recycling some classic nods to the original cartoon series/movie.

The Transformers movie looks interesting, but I'd prefer the classic look to the more "re-imagined" stuff we're apparently getting. I'll go see it in theaters for sure though.

The events of the Transformers movie (made in the 80's) actually took place in 2005, did you know that? ;)
