stoffe
What would Revan and Malak be called if they had sith names, instead of just adding Darth to the beginning. (like, Vader, Sidious, Traya...) I don't think they would have the need for any, as those strike me as a way of concealing your identity and your past and hint at a cloak and dagger way of operating. Unlike the next batch of Sith Lords, neither Revan nor Malak had any need or desire to hide, operate from the shadows and strike by surprise. They had vast armies, fleets and planets under their rule and as such were very prominent public figures on the galactic scene that pretty much everyone in the Republic or Sith-conquered parts of the galaxy would know of. A very sharp contrast compared to Traya/Sion/Nihilus/Sidious who even the Jedi didn't really know much about.
Emperor Devon
Probably whatever's Latin for chaos and strategic. Their names were already good enough IMO.

Ctrl Alt Del
Besides, the Sith of that era, didnt have those new names, they used their real names. I think it was Bane that begun this tradition.

tbl
i think they're fine with Darth Revan and Darth Malak. The point was that Sith names usually mean something, Nihilus = Nihilism: philosophical position, which argues that the world, and especially past and current human existence, is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value.* Traya = Betrayal Sidious = Insidious: working or spreading in a hidden and usually injurious way and so on. So which would be a good fit for Revan and Malak regardless of whether they need them or not. *or simply the latin word Nihil which means nothing, however there is a Darth Nihl. The Sith'ari
Revan- Darth Androgynous Malak- Darth Amandibularis I can get the one for Revan, but what about Malak? What's that word supposed to mean? IMO Darth Revan does reflect what Revan is. So really it's good enough, in fact it's a pretty cool name. But Malak? Well I ain't sure what it actually means. I searched, it means "angel" in arabic? Heh... Malak isn't even remoted connected with "angels". Perhaps there's another meaning that fits him better that I do not know. Else, what about Darth Bald? tbl
Malik means King in Arabic Malik is also one of the "99 Names of Allah", and is then al-Malik or The King in the absolute sense (denoted by the definite article), meaning the King of Kings, above all earthly rulers. Malik is also used as a Military rank in certain Muslim countries In Islamic belief, Malik denotes a terrible angel who guards the Hellfire You can see all these relate to Malak's character

SilentScope001
Wookipedia FTW! --Like many Sith Lords before and after him, Malak's name could be derived from real words—mala is Latin for "jawbone." It should be noted, however, that lead designer Drew Karpyshyn has stated that they had the name before the concept of the missing jaw-bone came up. Similarly, the word mal means "bad" in various "Romance" languages such as Spanish and French, and is similar to the word malice, possibly in reference to Malak's fall to the dark side of the Force. --It is also likely that the name is taken from the Arabic word "Malak" meaning Angel, and since Darth means "dark", he is "Dark Angel". Ctrl Alt Del
I think 99% of Muslims would fell indifferent that a video game character shares a similar name to one of their biblical names. You know, it seems like the story of KotOR (the game) and Kotor (the city). Just look on Wikipedia, Google or Youtube to see that there are much more views onthe Bioware - Obsidian game than on the Montenegrin town.
