Samuel Dravis
It's okay, just buy the single books (Fellowship of the Ring/The Two Towers/Return of the King) and the spines aren't nearly as big. Then you can go through them easily!
martmeister
The book was okay, but way too much singing and poem-reciting going on. Was it good as a way to critique the movies? Yes. Was it good enough for me to realistically ever read it again, assuming I don't run out of good reading material? No. Unfortunately, it will sit on my shelf as a (albeit paperback) collector's item. ...Now that I think about it, maybe I should've just borrowed it from a friend. I read it partially to get the jist on the DnD world.
turtlefreak
Dude. I couldn't even sit through the movie! My butt started hurting when they killed the old guy. I left after that....

Samuel Dravis
There is one thing I have to say to you Tolkien-hating, Tolkien-ripoff-loving, non appreciative people: WEIRDOS. Tolkien created the modern fantasy genre.

martmeister
Well, the DnD world and World of Warcraft are based off of it. However, I disagree with the whole "intelligent" orcs in the Warcraft universe. I think they've always had low-ass intelligence until Blizzard decides to do their own friggin' thing with it. And shaman trolls?! Plz!!

martmeister
I fixed the radio in my car. I thought when fuses blow, they're still there. The fuse was just missing. I'm either hoping it's usual for them to just evaporate in thin air when they've gone bad b/c I really can't see why someone would get into my car, pop the trunk, only to steal A fuse. Ray Jones
WEIRDOS.Are you sure you chose the right word? We must differ, do you mean weirdos, or whackos? To give you a quick update on the topic:Weirdo: Someone who hides under your car in a dark parking lot because they're waiting to grab you. Whacko: Someone who hides under your car in a dark parking lot because they feel safe there. So?

DarthAve
Beatles > U2 I mean c'mon. Who can take a band seriously that has a song called 'Lemon'?
Samuel Dravis
Noooooooo! Quote not the Beatles! U2 is the better of the oldies bands!Davinq wins, that's the end. U2 is better. I like U2 partially because they wear cool glasses and partially because they have the same name as a sweet airplane and the last partially because I like Sunday Bloody Sunday and most of their 80's stuff. I do like that one Mary song by the Beatles tho.
martmeister
I like U2 better, though The Beatles probably still have a larger following and do kick much arse. Eventually, U2 will overtake 'em. I think I know about every Beatles song.
Miss_Mayhem
-I got a little poem published into an anthology -I've read a handwritten speech in front of my elementary class, at least 1000 people considering all the classes that shuffled in an out -I have an average 5 reviews a chapter for A Summer of Psychics, real good for the Pnauts section on FF -I got 6 reviews a chapter for Takeout Troubles on another very small section on FF -I've unlocked all the chars and songs on DDR Extreme
martmeister
I got a speeding ticket and ended up hiring an attorney myself. I'd hoped that I could get all this taken care of without parents' knowledge (car insurance is cheaper as multi-vehicle and yes, I do pay my own share of insurance). Unfortunately, all the various lawyer letters were sent to my home address, so I had to spill the beans to them. Success at hiring a lawyer myself; failure at keeping info to self. Okay, so I guess they zero each other out.
