Tried it, not impressed. Basically a BF2 mod. And over time BF2 has gotten more and more sucky.

And yeah, BF2 mod, not enough of a "jump" to justify a full price if you already own BF2. Is to BF2 what BF:Vietnam was to BF1942: An overpriced 2.0 mod.

I probably would be interested in the game if it weren't for the third-party advertising tracking program that's installed with the game. I actually enjoyed BF2. Haven't played it in a while, but I remember having fun.

Yeah, it might not be that good, but I never played any of the other Battlefield games, so I don't know how similar they were.

Sorry for this 'bump', I just searched for an already excisting thread for BF 2142

 

First of, I like the game. Second, I have a huge problem.

This problem occurs every so often, at random.

 

I got everything updated (Punkbuster, Drivers, patches) and followed every guide out there. But nothing helps:

 

-Whenever I want to play BF2142, it asks to place the correct DVD in the drive. But I already have:

"Please ensure battlefield 2142 Install Disc is in the drive, select ok"

-Again, I tried everything. But nothing works. I can run the game on all--high specs as well, that's not the problem. And it has worked before.

 

Help me Lucasforums, you're my only hope!
