SilentScope001 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 hi everyone, i was just wondering something. i've played through tsl a few times but i just don't get what the difference is between a repeating blaster rifle and an ordinary blaster rifle. can someone tell me? thnks. Nothing. Usually, I see the repeating title attached before a little bit more powerful Blaster Rifle, but for the most part, it's just for flavor.
Titanius Anglesmith Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Actually, there is a difference. Instead of only shooting 3 shots in a regular attack of a regular blaster, repeaters shoot 6. I've never noticed that they hit the enemy more often though, so I think it's just for looks.
Ctrl Alt Del Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 ^Yeah, you're right. Though it just count like two attacks in one turn. See, if you can only hit the opponent one time with three shots, you'll probably shoot him 2 times with the repeater rifle.
Darth Jedi01 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Yeah, the only real difference between a Blaster Rifle and a Repeating Blaster Rifle is that the normal one does 1-12 damage and the repeater does 2-12 damage (plus one to the minimum)
Canderous_ordo1 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 well for a higher kill rate i prefer the repeating blasters is good when your outnumbered manly when you need extra fire power but i always get stuck with the heavy repeaters and i perfer the repeaters in the fire power and not all repeaters are only 2/16 when fully upgraded they can have up to 10/19 so i like it alot
Rev7 Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 A repeater blaster simply fires more shots. Thats called fire superiority is you must know, that means whatever side has more rounds fired wins... because it overwhelms your enemy. Simlpe if you think about it.
Prime Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 No need to resurrect an old thread. Thanks.
