Wojiz
Charles Frederick wrote a novelization of GF a while ago, maybe 2 or 3 years, over 100,000 words. Recently, his site went down, and I found, unfortunately, that I lost the file somehow. It's not on the internet at all. I would really appreciate if someone could say if they had one and to send me it or point me in the way of it.

King Dando
I knew about it. I think I have it on my computer somewhere, although I've never actually got around to reading it.
TheCrimsonClown
I can't help you in your quest to locate a copy, but I can however say, that his novelization is one of the best books I've ever read. Obviously a large portion of the book is ripped from the game but their are many chapters which fill in the blanks. It's well worth tracking down, don't give up till you find it. Klia
Is Charles Frederick an author? And if not, why not? Anyway, yes I have it on my computer, and yes I did find it very enjoyable. The writing style fit right in with the style of the game, they elaborated in areas I wanted elaboration, and overall it was an enjoyable read. However, I would be much interested in writing that extends beyond the game. While it was a very nice novelization that should have been published to be like a movie-tie-in book (except this time as a game, obviously). If Frederick did extend write a fanfiction that went beyond canon storyline than please direct me to it. That was my biggest complaint...and really it doesn't count because I went into this knowing it would be a novelization of the game. So being what it is I rate it very highly and have and will continue to recommend this novel to any type of Grim Fandango fan.
VampireNaomi
I recall Frederick having written short pieces going beyond the game's timeline. For example, there was one about Manny and Glottis in a bar in Puerto Zapato, one about Valentine's Day in Rubacava, and one about how Domino started working for Hector. They were really good, so I hope someone has them saved.
JagJedi
Hi VampireNaomi, I have those saved however I'm not sure how to post them to this board. If you can PM me your email address I can forward a .zip file with all of them in it and maybe you can post it to the board for everyone to enjoy. Let me know. VampireNaomi
For everyone who doesn't have the shorter stories, I put them up on my old Geocities account. Thanks to JagJedi for sending them to me since I had long since lost them myself. Everyone knows that Geocities sucks, so if someone with real web space wants to host them, everyone would be grateful.
