[TSL--SPOILERS ABOUND!] Quick canon question...

What is the "correct" ending to TSL? Light-side or Dark-side?

With my storyline for KOTOR:CK (unofficial title already :p), it doesn't matter if Malachor V is destroyed or not... I'll change all of that anyway. :)

Just need to know which ending was supposed to be the "correct" one.

Thanks,

- CK

In my opinion.. both endings are pretty much worthless, as all you do is either leave or kill an already dead planet. Congratulations on wasting 20 hours of your time

I consider the ending to include the meeting with the Jedi Council, the battle with Nihilus and Sion, and the last talk with Kreia, which makes the ending nice. Also, in the DS Ending, you "inherit the Dark Throne" and presumably lead the Sith Order. That ending is low-key, and possibly a better way of showing you taking over the Sith Empire than the ending in K1.

The Light Side ending is the correct one, but the player latter turns to the Dark Side, like the vision on the hidden tomb predicted. I wish both ending were better, like the exile saying goodbye to eveybody and going after Revan (Light) or staying in Malachor and seeing students coming to the Academy (Dark)

The one you find the most fun to play. :)

There are no "you lose" endings in TSL, so it's up to player choice which is preferred.

Well Stated stoffe. I personally prefer a LSF for Revan and a LSM for The Exile. I also prefer how Canderous describes the Battle of Malachor V in KotOR I. Over the use of a super weapon as a plot device in KotOR II.

So the Exile eventually turns to the Dark side...

Gotcha.

And I'm going to use the KOTOR 2 "assign the bad guy" system, but just for the Exile's sex. Since he eventually turns, there's really no need to defend him, except maybe some dark-side points... :p

Well, uh, CeeKay, the Exile does not eventually turn to the Dark Side. The person who said that must be confusing Jediphile's story, reading his spoiler about Darth Nihilus and Exile being connected and:

That Exile must become Darth Nihilus to close the wound in the Force

I don't believe in this derviviate theory that Jediphile has, altough I do speculate Darth Nihilus and Exile are connected with Darth Nihilus being the Dark Side Exile rejected at Malachor V. So, basically, there is no inidcation that The Exile eventually turns to the Dark Side. Actually, I doubt a canonical Exile would fall to the DS.
