One more day left of voting. I can already tell I lost; but, at least I can say that I did try my best. So, not a total waste of time for me.

The goal isn't necessarily to win, Darth Balatro--it's mainly to see how other writers approach a subject, and to improve our writing. If you learned something from writing something here, then you won big.

I have no doubt he'll know to choose an interesting July topic.

I'm surprised honestly. Four days ago when I checked, I was running neck and neck with Jasra and Jae.

 

Now I am torn between possible topics. Part of me wants to go with pratfalls, seeing the most serious character doing something that makes us laugh at him.

 

The other topic I would like to see is last stands. The characters we see and love fighting that last battle that will make them a legend. I even have a story laid out in both, though I wil not enter the contest this month.

 

Give me a day, and I'll consider it further. Thank all of you that voted for me, but thanks especially to the other competitors. Come on and stun us with your skills, kids. Make us love your characters.

 

As for my story from JUne, I will hopefully have an expanded rewrite ready by saturday.
