Fredi
“It was about time, c’mon get to know each other and let’s go.”- I said as I looked in to the eyes of Roll. “Wanna know me? Fred Hernandez I am you’re transport man and I pretty much gonna be where ever you are so nice to meet you all and to waist by values time here sited and hearing all you greetings, and hey the library rat, Ral watch you’re back I am watching you”- I said as I winked him. I then decided take a cigarette and smoke a little bit. “Any one?”- I said as I asked if some one wanted a cigarette. Padawan, please post in the third person, as FFWM asked you to. You're the only one posting in the first person, and it really doesn't help with the flow of the RP. ~
Corinthian
"Hernandez, we don't have a transport, and we're unlikely to find one. And how the hell did you get that? Don't tell me this moron is wasting hydroponic space growing tobacco. Wait, that is tobacco, right?" Peter said, then sighed. "Did the Overseer really think we were gonna find any kind of intact vehicle on the surface? We'll be lucky if we find an intact bicycle."
Fredi
“ha-ha I thought you guy’s where braniacs, U.S.A use to have under ground hidden bases where they stored ships they where called at the time helicopters and airplanes, I am here obviously because the might be a damn ship out there and just incase we need to use it I am there, and I call this cigarette but it’s some type of plant that is able to smoke.”- Fred said to Peter. Fred thought- “So much brain for nothing, ha-ha they don’t know that U.S.A hangars where approve against nuclear weapons?. Wow this cigarette is great!” OOC: Sorry I keep forgetting the third person view.
Corinthian
Peter stared at Hernandez. "First of all, you're assuming we'll manage to find one of those bases, which were, you know, secret and hidden. You're also assuming we'll be able to get into the base, which is unlikely, and you're also assuming that those things will still be active after a hundred years with no maintenance. Ants, cockroaches, mutant spiders, they'll be crawling all over the insides of those things. Besides, what makes you think we'll get there first? And even so, if this place took a direct hit, which is likely, it doesn't matter if they survive the hit - they'll be damaged to the point that we'd have no way of getting in." Fredi
“Peter, don’t talk with knowing, The U.S.A military forces has a lot but A LOT of mysteries and things that you don’t know, believe me, we will find something out there usable and still working at 100% capacity. We will make it first cause I know we will.”- Fred said with a cold and firm look at Peter. “I guarantee my life that we will find a ship, ha-ha well not me our government guarantees that”- Fred said to Peter letting him know that there will be some type of transport in the surface. Corinthian
"Yeah. Did somebody slip Jose some Psycho? Or has he been taking it on his own? Come on, own up, show us the syringes. Do we have to take the addict with us, Roll? Now he thinks he can see the future."
ForceFightWMe12
"Well, if you guarantee your life, then you can be the first one to go into the base. If you don't come back out, we'll know that it's radioactive or otherwise unstable and move on without transport." Kat's eyes flashed as she watched this Hernandez character, knowing already that this trip was going to be a real pain in the ass if he was planning on being like this the entire time. She hated people who thought that they were all-knowing. "Come on, Katherine." her brother murmured, grabbing her upper arm, "We still need to pay a visit to the armory. I'm sure that they'll have a lot of explosives there." Taking a breath and heaving a sigh, the woman followed her twin out of the room and down the hall, into the open armory. Fredi
“You have a deal, I will go first if that what you all which, Yeah let’s send the best men first, that’s stupid if you don’t know?” Jose Fred said as he looked at the floor. “But as I said, Ok I will go first”- Hernandez said “I don’t have no fear and if I die is not going to be bad for you right? … Well as you theory says there is no transport there so what my need? You have a deal man”- Hernandez said with a smile from ear to ear and the cigarette in his mouth.
Corinthian
"Any of us can drive a car, it's not complicated. Fredi
“Great joke Peter, what’s next? I will become will gain super powers of the radiation? Ha-ha, what ever…” – Hernandez said as I looked at him. “I bet non of you know how to even start an automobile, ha-ha provably don’t know how to ride a bicycle”- Hernandez as he laughed at the face of Peter. Rogue Nine
Ral pressed his lips together in a thin line. This Hernandez person was worse than he'd expected. He suspected that the Overseer had assigned the cocky youth to the mission as a means of getting Hernandez away from the Vault, which, of course, made it patently unfair to the rest of the decent folk who had been enlisted. Casting a glance at Roll, he noted she seemed a bit peturbed at the goings-on and he didn't blame her. Things were already getting off to a rough start. Turning back to Charlie, he gave her an encouraging smile. "Sorry for startling you, Miss. My name's Ral, and I'm a scientist. I have a laptop that I've been having trouble with recently, so I was wondering if you could have a look at it when we're topside." He gave her a jaunty wave, then stood up and made for the door. Corinthian
"Actually, I do. You insert the key, and twist. It's not complex. Incidentally, Hernandez, I'm beginning to think you got assigned to this mission more so that the Overseer can clean out some bad genes before you reproduce." Grace
"Hey Charlie, Can you help me out? I have a software problem." Whitman asked holding his interface tool out in front of the computer genius. At the familiar voice, Charlie breathed a small sigh of relief and glanced up. She took the interface tool from Whitman and examined it briefly. Then, she pulled her tablet computer back out of her bag and began fishing around for a chord with which to connect the two devices together. Now, being truly occupied, it was somewhat less of a startling event when Ral asked if she wouldn't mind looking at his laptop later. "Can do," she answered, unaware that he had left without waiting for her response. Frowning ever so slightly, she tugged her glasses down onto her nose and powered on her tablet. About a minute later, she grimaced. "Honestly, Jase, what have you been using this thing for?" she demanded. "No, never mind that... where'd you get it? Cus I can tell you for sure it didn't come through me..."
Fredi
“If that was the case you would provably out of here since born cause you are ugly as hell library rat, plus look at the meeting, Hey! Ral! Ha-ha way to hit on a girl!!.... technology style, gonna try that one next time!”- Hernandez said as he looked first at Peter and then at Ral. “If you actually get marriage invite me , I would love to see a convention of lap tops”
Quist
"All right, that's quite enough of that," Roll proclaimed forcefully as she got between Peter and Hernandez, pushing them apart with her arms. "We're not even on the surface and you're already bickering. Please, stop." She turned to face Hernandez, giving him her most diplomatic smile. "I know you're antsy to leave, and I promise that we will leave as soon as I feel we're ready, so please, just go get ready and be patient with me." What have I gotten myself into... Roll thought to herself with a small pang of regret.
Fredi
“Hey, I don’t have problems with women, and less with woman’s such as beautiful as you, I ask for forgiveness dear.”- Hernandez said to Roll “Any thing you need it will be a pleasure, so I now leave. Gonna go to the bathroom excuse me dear, see ya library Rat”- Hernandez said referring to Peter.
Corinthian
"You know, Roll, wouldn't Jose be a strategic target to take out? All I can see is him making a stupid comment to some people along the way and getting us killed. On our way out, we just hit him over the head and leave him in the door's track. Quick, relatively painless, and solves a potential problem before it happens."
Quist
Roll blinked. "Did...did he just make a pass at me?" she wondered aloud, then shook her head. "Bloody git..." She turned to face Peter as he spoke to her. "You know, Roll, wouldn't Jose be a strategic target to take out? All I can see is him making a stupid comment to some people along the way and getting us killed. On our way out, we just hit him over the head and leave him in the door's track. Quick, relatively painless, and solves a potential problem before it happens." "I wish it were that easy, Peter," Roll responded, sighing as she recrossed her arms. "I'm responsible for everyone's welfare now, even his." She blew a wisp of brown hair out of her eyes. "I just hope he's not as unmanageable when we finally do get outside." Grace
For an ever so brief moment, Charlie looked up from her work. For not speaking much, she certainly had keen ears. At the mention of wishing for a way to be rid of Hernandez, she said softly, "That'd be easy... have him hold a wire... oops, not that one... zap, dead." She grinned sheepishly at her tablet and muttered, "Sorry... not funny..." and returned to her work.
Master_Archon
Svelt's brows furrowed a bit as Kat and her brother left, "Not even a goodbye, very disappointing." He muttered out loud to no one in particular with a hint of indignance. He still had quite a bit of time before he needed to get back and get ready, so he decided to walk around the room and see if he could find someone he could introduce himself to. He listened intently to the conversations that took place between everyone else, especially the arguements and such with Hernandez. He was passing by the shy girl, Charlene, hearing her mutter something about the whole situation. "That'd be easy...hold a wire...that one... zap, dead," he could pick out. "Sorry... not funny..." Johan smiled at this. "I am thinking it was..." he paused, his smile fading a bit. "Sorry, I will go," he said meekly, he didn't want to do the same thing the other two had done awhile ago, so he turned and slowly began walking away. He was a bit depressed he couldn't find anyone to talk to, most of them occupied, or talking to someone else...or they were Hernandez, and he didn't want to talk to him. Fredi
Hernandez was passing and saw this guy, it was Svelt it was not known to him but he greeted him, he did not looked like the other. “Hey man, what’s up? Why are you here?”- Hernandez asked to the guy walking
Master_Archon
Svelt had barely taken three steps when he heard Hernandez's voice greeting him. Johan halted as if he had heard nails raking a chalkboard, he breathed in sharply, then turned his head to look at the man putting on the friendliest face he could for him. "I am thinking I am fine, and that I am here because I was told to be. Now I am asking the Hernandez to go and use the bathroom like he said he would, and leave me to my peace...I need some, alone time," he told Hernandez in the friendliest manner he could. Fredi
“What ever man, see ya”- Hernandez said as he headed to the bathroom we really did not care the way Svelt answered. “At least some one with attitude”- he thought. Hernandez went to the bathroom used the toilet. Um, we do not condone drug use here, real or simulated. Please do not have your character use drugs. Thanks. ~
ForceFightWMe12
"Ah, the armory." Travis said, breathing a sigh and smiling as he entered the room. It wasn't too vast, but nor was it very small - the room itself was of about medium height, width, and length, though there was very little room for one to walk. All four walls were lined with numerous racks for weapons of all sorts, and islands of weapon racks reduced the room to a grid of very small aisles. The studious twin now began to step through them, having to inch sideways in some places to scoot by the gun handles and such. "Why are you so excited?" Kat asked as she began to stroll an aisle on the other side of the room, "You wouldn't shoot a gun if your life depended on it." "Actually, I would." he returned, pausing to take down an ancient AK-47. "Which is why I'm carrying the Sig Sauer right now." His sister paused, a disbelieving look on her face as she turned to look at him. Or, at least she tried to. She bobbed up and down and side to side, trying to get a clear glimpse at her brother through the racks of weaponry. "No you're not...are you really?" "Yes, I am." he answered, returning the rifle to its place on the wall as he finished studying it. "If we're running into trouble out there, I don't want to be undefended." "So, if you have a gun..." she murmured, turning back to her business, "Then why are you here?" He shrugged, as if she could see the motion. "I just like to see how things work." For several minutes, the twins silently browsed the shelves - seeming as if they were shopping for groceries rather than highly dangerous and deadly weapons. With a pack bouncing at her hip, Kat moved among the explosives with a giddy expression on her face; she was a kid shopping at a toy store. Never had she seen things like this: factory-made, military-grade explosives. And there were racks and racks of them! Grenades, Mines, DetPacks, RPGs... Travis was keeping himself well occupied as well. He pulled down gun after gun as he went through the racks, often disengaging the safeties or beginning to take them apart, as if he were to do routine maintanance. It was something he was used to - after all, he had to keep the Sig Sauer in fine condition if he expected it to last as the family heirloom. He was as fascinated by all the different working parts as he was fascinated by the working parts of an animal or plants. Who knew that such joy could be found in an armory? Corinthian
Peter grinned at the jokes, then headed off to the bathroom. He slid open the door in time to hear the sound of a block of meat slapping the floor. He could see Hernandez's arm hanging out from one of the stalls. "What the...?" He pulled him out and touched his neck. The pulse was erratic and overly fast. He bolted out of the bathroom and slapped a medical alarm. Medics ran up. "What's going on?" "Guy, out in there. I think he was using something. His pulse is fast, I think he ODed." "Hernandez?" "Yeah." "Great. I need ten ccs of adrenaline! Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The medics bustled in and out, taking Hernandez out on a stretcher a few minutes later. Peter headed back to the group. "Hernandez just ODed. Somehow, I don't think he'll be going with us."
