The topic of the month is one that has always been a strong theme in Star Wars, as well as a suitable successor to last month's topic:

Since you're going to extend it anyway on the 19th how about adding another week right now? (That and the extra time would be useful, the school year having started up again and all.)

Well, I checked the post queue, and there's only 1 entry for this month's challenge. You know you want to enter , so I'm going to give all of us a few extra days to polish those entries and get them in. The due date will be 26 Oct, same time. Don't wait to long, though!

I will get them posted tonight after I get home from work, unless another mod gets them sooner. Sorry for delay--I don't have internet access at work and I'm doing a lot more work lately.

Whoever is the winner of this last contest will come up with the topic for the next Tales competition, which one of us mods will post. The poll closes in a week, so hopefully we'll have a new topic very soon after that. We're coming up on the holiday season, so we might have a Nov/Dec topic to give people enough time to work on it.
