The Seeker
I've been listening to Bruce Springsteen's new album "Magic" It's one of his best ever, and it got me listening to all the other albums I own, and I've encountered a problem. On "The Ghost of Tom Joad" my .mp3 was corrupted when I ripped it off my disc years ago. I never really listened to the album before, but the title track is glitchy, and the disc is long lost. Now, I'm aware of the rules of the boards, so don't list anything in this thread that is against the rules, but if anyone happens to know where I may procure just track 1 of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" PM me and I will be eternally gratefull. Back on track though. Anyone else got ahold of his new album? What think you?

Or just get frostwire and download it. Whatever floats your boat.
Tyrion
If the RIAA comes and demands its demonic tithe, you're the one that's gonna have to expose his butt to Lars Ulrich's fiery and sexy rage, Bongo.
TiE23
Err, Bongo. Ex-nay on the "everyone probably does it but never talk about it, but then again maybe only a few ever do it, and I definitely don't, but I think I may know someone who knows, but I'm not really sure" situation on iffy things as such. Right, that's poetry... lawl.
Bob Lion54
Napster- It's legal now, but it cost money. Its $9.95 a month for all the songs you care to download. The songs are copyprotected, but you can buy the song for $1 which will allow you to keep it if you cancel your account. So, $11 and you can get the song you want. I like it because I don't mind the $10/month to get my music legally. It does cost more if you want to burn the song, but in my case, I pretty much just listen to songs at my computer. So, it works out. I downloaded the new album earlier but I listened to it while I was cruising the internet and wasn't really paying attention. I liked "Devils & Dust" and "The Rising," though. BongoBob
Yeah, or go the legal way and download it through Napster (never thought I'd hear "Legal way" and "napster" in the same sentance ) or iTunes or whatever. Although since he already owns the CD, I don't find downloading one track that won't properly rip to be copyright infringement, but who am I to say what the crackheads at the RIAA will say. The Seeker
Yeah, Itunes won't sell just the single of that song. You have to buy the whole album, in my case, again.
BongoBob
Which is why you get Peerguardian 2 and then frostwire/torrents
Pho3nix
I was pretty disappointed with Magic. Maybe I'll just have to listen more to it. I still think the Boss' older albums are way better than the newer ones. The Rising is one exception from the newer production, great album. The Seeker
I was pretty disappointed with Magic. Maybe I'll just have to listen more to it. I still think the Boss' older albums are way better than the newer ones. The Rising is one exception from the newer production, great album. The Rising is definately his best in the last ten years, but Magic has some seriously good tracks on there. Magic, Last to Die, and Long Walk Home pop to mind immediately. I know there are a few other stand out tracks on there too, with only two or three I thought were mediocre. I've been hitting this album pretty hard for the last week, and already I'm skipping around to my favorites instead of listening through. With the Rising, that took more than a month to happen, but still, Magic is a close second for his recent stuff. And on a side note, I got ahold of The Ghost of Tom Joad from wal-mart.com where I could buy just the single. Now I feel all gross and dirty even though I didn't physically walk into wal-mart. I guess a gross store's grossness translates quite well online.
