Darth Smaug Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 The Cure, who are working on a new album that will be out in April/May 2008 recently played one of their new songs live! The song is named "Please Project" and brings back the old Cure feeling, it's very up-to beat with catchy lyrics. I can't wait for this album to come out. Please Project(Live)

Cygnus Q'ol Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Cure fans are a myth. This thread is a lie. Disintegration is one of my all time favorite albums. It got me through some rough tmes. I hope this new one is Hot, Hot, Hot.
mimartin Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 I wouldn’t call myself a Cure fan, but I enjoy some of their songs. Have a good number of songs off "Disintegration" and "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss me" on my IPod and the song “Just Like Heaven” is on my Favorites playlist. It is a great song to ski to. I hope the new CD is great. I'm on iTunes now adding a few older songs to my collection.
Darth Smaug Posted October 19, 2007 Author Posted October 19, 2007 I really think it will be great, it will be the last album, so it must be great!

deathdisco Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 All Cure fans raise their hands . I doubt this is their last album. They have been doing "final" tours since the late '80s.
Q Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Ah, The Cure. Brings back old memories. Depression, old girlfriends, depression caused by old girlfriends... But yeah, I like 'em.

Then someone must've downloaded photographic, aural and emotional data into my memory caps, because I distinctly remember seeing them play at the Spectrum in Philadelphia in 1989. Perhaps your memory has escaped you. It's possible that a traumatic incident has blocked or perhaps deleted your files. There are quite a few outlets in which you can re-familiarize yourself with this music. I suggest you listen with others and create new ones. Live is always better.
