Futurama: Benders Big Score

Well, after 4 long years of waiting, Futurama is finally back, and in a big way. I just got done watching Benders Big Score, and I havn't been this happy in a long time. The humor was spot on, and had lots of little references to past episodes. I can't wait for the next DVD to come out.

 

Anyone else seen this? Their thoughts and opinions?

After the hugely unimpressive Simpsons movie, this was a pleasant surprise. It nearly held up to the show's standard, and was both entertaining and somewhat intelligent. I especially liked the BOX executives.

I've watched it probably 10 times so far

 

Now I'm waiting to see exactly how this will end up being chopped up into individual episodes...

I read an interview with David X Cohen, and he said that they would all end on suspensefull parts, like a to be continued cliff-hanger type thing. I can't wait til the next dvd. No amount of futurama will ever be enough

 

I too thought the Box Executives was a nice little eff you to Fox

I saw it earlier today when I went to an HMV. I didn't think much of it then, and bought Ocean's Thirteen. Maybe I'll get it next week when Pirates III and Superbad come out on DVD.

Yea, the movie is still great, the packaging however, I'm starting to despise.

Why are you dispising the packaging?

cause the disc is slid into this paper thingy, and it folds into a U that gets stuck into the 'box'. It screams 'scratch me' and wants to fall out all the time.
