Keyan Farlander
Got up to Calculus. Then I stopped, mostly due to boredom. That's really not enough to understand the math in this kind of physics.
edlib
Word on the street is that our very own Ryan "Nitro" Cole is now a married man. Hard to believe, I know... but all evidence points to that conclusion. Aren't you following close behind, Zarg? Seems like it's the end of an era here at good ol' XWA HQ. edlib
5 weeks from Friday. What have I gotten myself into You poor, poor man. I will pray for your soul. Work was (mostly) easy. On lunch break my buddy bought a pair of RC helicopters, and we spent an inordinate amount of time learning to fly these things around the hall. I sometimes can't believe I get paid for this **** either, folks... It does make up for all the crappy hours I put in dealing with shows like last night's, or having to put up with idiots like Buckingham's grouchy road crew... so it all pans out in the end. It's a wash... Did some shopping afterwards. Milk, bread, OJ, a copy of Lego Star Wars Complete Saga for 360... y'know... just the necessities. (My buddy's mom had picked up for him while he was on a trip home recently... and when he realized it had online co-op, I was instructed to purchase it ASAP.) Cmdr. Cracken
Those dating website are horible. They peg me as a liberal, the y think that I'm best matched with body art people, and that I'm some kind of psychotic. OOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh kaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy......... Wierd.......................... Anyway........... I hate my job.
edlib
Again? Didn't you leave one job you hated for this one? Still... you wouldn't be American if you didn't hate your job. I have yet to dip my foot into the twilight zone world of online dating. I'm scared. I have to deal with enough wackos and weirdos (who I already know...) in my everyday life... signing up to meet even more of them, (all of them total strangers...) just really doesn't seem like a good deal to me. But that tune may just change the older I get. We'll see...
Rogue15
i just got done chatting with that girl. she seems cool, i dunno. she wants to get to know me on IM first before meeting me. guess that's understandable. we have a few basic things in common.. ED -meet them by chatting with them first? lol...i decided to just go on the trial and spam the **** out of these women and take any that go for me. (unless they look like elephants) hell with it i got nothin to lose.

edlib
It all depends on the body, and the art. You gotta start with a good canvas,.. and then stay tasteful.

K_Kinnison
There is tasteful body art, and there is using your skin as nothing more then a wall that looks like there was an Artistic gang war that erupted on your skin. WHen I watch shows like LA ink or Miami ink it is really sad when someone has to search for a spot to put new art on their body. So far I have some ideas, but there is nothing yet I found I want to spend hundreds of dollars on to get permanently put on my body. FYI I am seriously thinking of getting a "Lens" put on my wrist similar to the one in my Avatar (even tho that is not what they look like in the books) yet I have to find a decent artist to do it, and there are none I trust in the area I live
edlib
I've seen a couple of tattoos I really liked... though it is very rare, and I've never wanted one myself. I once saw someone with the Rebel Alliance symbol in red on one shoulder, and the Imperial Crest in a gray-blue on the other... I thought that was cool, if a little geeky. It was well done anyway. Saw some of Einstein's equations written out that I thought was kinda cool. I've seen some ladies with really pretty colorful (usually floral or butterfly) tats that I liked... but they were mostly small, and unobtrusive. Girls with big, dark tats usually are an instant turn-off. That goes for too much body piercing too. A little goes a very long way... Shoulder blades, ankles, small-of-the-back, and maybe just above the bikini-line are about the only places I've seen ink on a woman's body that made me go "Hmmm..." And you should NEVER do anything on the breast region, ladies! That's sacred ground... and is fascinating enough to us without further decoration! Trust me on this... On the other hand, this is a very good example of what I personally would deem "tasteful" and "just enough":
edlib
My cat is gone. Mom let it out in the middle of the night last night, and it didn't return in the morning. I didn't see it before I headed out to work either, but I was leaving earlier than my usual, so I didn't think too much about it at the time. It hasn't shown up yet... and at this point I have a creeping feeling that it's not going to. It's been almost 24 hours since she ate last. As much of a pain-in-the-ass this animal has been in my life for the last 12 months, I never wanted to see it come to any harm either. Especially now, in the last couple of weeks where we seem to have come to an understanding, and she was taking all her business outside. I'll check the local pound and the police in the morning to see if she's been turned in or reported injured/ dead. I'll try not to think the worst for a little longer... she could have been taken in by someone else, or hiding out somewhere from the sudden snap of cold weather. But I have serious doubts about either of those. But what are you going to do? It is what it is... Sad to think about, but not much anybody could do. This cat wanted out, and refused to take "no" for an answer. That's the chances you take with an outdoor pet. I'll tell you one thing for true: If she doesn't return, ever, then THIS. WILL. BE. THE. LAST. PET. FOR. ME. FOR. A. LONG. LONG. LONG. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. TIME. PERIOD. This pet-ownership experience, from the very beginning, to the (very most likely) not-so-happy-or-pleasant conclusion, has, unfortunately, soured me on the entire idea for good stretch to come. edlib
Yeah. I hear that. I've really been attempting to stay positive this week. Been mostly successful so far, too... despite work stupidity, my continuing inability to have the kind of social life I'd really like to have... and now cat disappearance issues. It seems to get tougher every day, though.
