Darth Payne
Could some one tell me the various ranking points here at Holowan? I know i became a Junior Member at 250 posts and a Forumite at 500. What about the rest? Is there a way to change the title underneath your name? If so, how? *** *** If this has already been answered in another thread i apologize.
Emperor Devon
Custom/changeable titles are available at 1,000 posts. (Or was it 1,001? I recall someone having an issue with that once. Either way, small difference.) The rest of the ranks are as follows: 0-9: Lurker 10-249: Rookie 250-499: Junior Member 500-749: Forumite 750-999: Veteran 1,000+: see above 5,000: General 10,000: Crazy Forum Addict 20,000: George Lucas II 25,000: Freak 30,000: Shouldnt-I-Be-A-Moderator-By-Now? Darth Payne
Thanks Emperor Devon. You've helped answer a few questions i've had since i joined this Forum. My guess is that quite a few other members are also wondering the same thing.
tk102
It's 1000 posts + a couple hours for the auto-promotion to occur.

DarthJebus05
It's 1000 posts + a couple hours for the auto-promotion to occur. I suppose thats to stop the spammers out there?
RedHawke
Actually spammers get their post counts nerfed. Your post count isn't what is important, the quality of your posts are what is important.
DarthJebus05
Exactly. If I wanted to have high posts, I would have done 1000 by now, due to my registered date was in April.
Jae Onasi
Exactly. If I wanted to have high posts, I would have done 1000 by now, due to my registered date was in April. Not everyone is as chatty as me.
Emperor Devon
Not everyone is as chatty as me. Here nearly a year less than me and over a thousand more posts? Tut. >_>
tk102
Actually Devon, Jae and I nerf your count by a few posts every couple of days.

Darth InSidious
That's just post-count denoting. The actual class system runs something like this: N00b (i r making four-tee new planuts, bt how?????) Newb (Excuse me for asking, but how do I do X, Y and Z?) Modder (Here are my first few mods, I'm having a few problems but getting along fine...) Competent Modder (I fixed the problems myself - and here are some more advanced mods I've been tinkering with...) Expert Modder (My tutorials are still in-progress...) Veteran (Actually, that was requested in late 2004, but the team fell apart because...) Old High One (I have been here since before time itself. Oh, and consider this thread locked.)
