jasond22
I've been poking around but haven't found any new single-player missions to download. Anyone know of any good ones?

They are available on his website, http://firehawkproductions.moonfruit.com/# (the # is not a mistake) They are the SW: Deception, Inquisition, and Revelation links at the bottom of his navbar. Inyri
There are various good ones. I'm particularly fond of the Nina series by Larry McBruce, so much so that I lent my talents to it. You can find other SP missions (including Deception) at JK3Files.

Inyri
IIRC they haven't been made yet. Unless I'm thinking of something different. I haven't talked to Shadriss in a while.

Yep, I just read over at map-craft.com forums a thread where Shadriss is looking for help to maybe make Inquisition but he's tied-up working on MB2 right now. Zarnik
Hey anyone know the single player mission when you played as windu. In outcast? Or the dark lord single player mission, you know where I can find dark lord or other single player missions with the same quality as dark lord? nizwiz
One of the highest-quality sp campaigns ever created for JK2/JK3 is Mercenary's recent "Eve of Redemption": http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=185392. It is truly amazing, especially the part with the Coruscant skybox.

Forceboat
Zarnik, I think you're talking about Mace Windu: Party Crasher by Anthony Piggott. Fun level. Here's where to get it: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Mace_Windu_Party_Crasher;43957 http://massassi.net/levels/files/3057.shtml As for the other one, I think you mean Enter The Dark Lord by Anthony Piggott. Unfortunately, I don't think Anthony has finished it. I think everyone here is hoping that one day soon Anthony will finally finish it. I know I would like to see it. Forceboat
Well, it all depends on which of the two games you want to play a Single Player level for. Numerous sites havce different things; I have heard Dash Rendar: Resurgence is pretty good; that's for Jedi Outcast; there's a sweet coversion over at JKFiles, two versions actually, you might want tocheck out for Jedi Academy - it's called Escape:Yavin Four, and they are pretty big, like about 25 missions(!), for the second version, anyway. Here's the download links for the three: Dash Rendar:Resurgence: http://www.lucasfiles.com/index.php?action=file&id=101&PHPSESSID=49c9719a60c5321b69b524b0a7648277 Escape From Yavin Four (original): http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Escape_Yavin_IV;37749 Escape: Yavin Four - The Lost Maps: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Escape_Yavin_IV_The_Lost_Maps;58958 That's just an example of some of the good ones. If you want to know about any others, just look around the various sites or just ask. Some good sites to fish around: JK2 Classic Files from JediKnight.Net- Site with files from JediKnightII.net (which was no longer updated past 2003), now just a site with all the files that were submitted up until that point. Has a good handful of Single Player maps from jedi Outcast, some you can't download from anywhere else. http://jk2files.jediknight.net LucasFiles - Obviously, from same guys. Only three Single Player Maps for Jedi Outcast available, but a couple of Jedi Academy ones, too. Worth a look. http://lucasfiles.com Massassi Temple- Like JK2 Classic Files, these guys sometimes have maps you can't download anywhere else, to my knowledge. http://massassi.net And the best one: JK3 Files. They have a lot of maps to choose from. Sometimes they file them under the Mods or Conversions folders if they are more than just maps, but they have them nonetheless. http://jediknight3.filefront.com

Mikouen
We've just had a new one put up on JKFiles, 'Crash On Tatooine'. Short and sweet, but well-made and a good challenge.

Mercenary
We've just had a new one put up on JKFiles, 'Crash On Tatooine'. Short and sweet, but well-made and a good challenge. Hey Kouen, who submitted that file? Wasn't me. Looks like the readme posted below the review is cut short, it's missing info like release date. The file was posted in 2004 and obviously far from being new. Here's the link to the file I posted back then: http://www.lucasfiles.com/index.php?s=&action=file&id=858&show=more
Mikouen
Hmm, well, that's a jiffy. It was submitted under your name with your email address, nothing struck me as suspicious. Beyond that, I'm not sure I can figure out who uploaded it. We have a new upload system, y'see, and it's still in it's infancy. I'll ask about getting a feature added to it that records the username of whoever uploaded a file in addition to the submitted developer name. The file can be taken down easily enough if you object to us having it up there, all you need to do is ask.In the meantime, though, I'll update the info page and file to have the full, non-truncated readme. jasond22, it's right here, or on Mercenary's website of course. The search box on JKFiles is powered by AJAX, and new files aren't rendered immediately - I believe it takes roughly six hours for the search box to render new files. For newer releases, it's better to check the '50 Latest Files' box on the main page as well as searching.

I'm not thrilled about it. It should be the author of the file or someone with permission acting on his/her behalf to submit files. The email address in that readme hasn't existed in a long time so I can't provide support or answer questions regarding that mod. The file can remain but I'd like to have the readme changed to show my current email address. The other thing I'd like added are the screenshots for the mod. One of the screenshots posted is 1024x1024 and not intended to be a screenshot. I don't know how you want to go about making these changes. I'll PM you and see what we can work out. Mikouen
Consider it done. Screenshots modified, added your current email address to the on-site readme, currently uploading the file with the email address changed in that readme too. Part of our plagiarism policy is only accepting files submitted by their creators as opposed to third-parties. However, due to the new upload system (as opposed to the old inbox), any user could pretend to be any mod developer when submitting a file and we simply can't tell the difference. I'm currently asking management about ways to remedy this, with the first step upgrading the system to log network usernames as well as just developer names when a file is submitted to us. That shouldn't be a difficult change to have implemented, to be honest, as usernames are stored in the submission database anyway. The effort expended would merely be an extra SQL query. Hopefully that would prevent any more incidents like this in the future, but if not, we'll keep looking at safeguards and suggesting them to the upper management. After the recent StrategyInformer incident as well as the KotORFiles boycott a good while back, we're more than aware of the issues when files are uploaded without a developer's knowledge or consent. All I can do right now is apologise.
