[WIP] [K1] Corellia

Ok i have already started on a new project, feeling confidant that i have enough resources and info to do this. Note: my re-skinning and dialogue project isn't exactly abandoned, rather im using what i've done so far for this project.

 

as the title suggests my new area will be CORELLIA....

 

What to expect:

 

NEW AREAS

 

1. CEC Private starport (using the jedi enclave on dantooine)

 

Note:Corellian Engineering Corporation, abbreviated CEC and originally called Corellian Engineering Corps, was one of the three largest starship manufacturers. This corporation was widely considered the most prolific starship manufacturer in the galaxy.

 

2. Farming complex

(using Sandral grounds? atm can't remember which one has the building you can enter)

 

3. Cave of Spirits (using the cave on dantooine)

 

4. Kor Vella ( using the tatooine city)

tourist city on Corellia.

 

New Characters

 

Administrator Thracken (CEC) Human Male

 

Valerian Korr ( owner of the Korr Family farming complex) Human Male

 

Cera *trigger fingers" (Mercenary, accompanied by a pair of wookies) Twielek Female

 

Un-named (old man gaurding the entrance to the cave) Human Male

 

Mary and Jan Antilles (mother and daughter evicted from home in Kor Vella) Both Human Female

 

Lilly (found in the cave) Human Female

 

Administrator Dierk Solo ( Czerka, found in Kor Vella)

 

Others: Rodian Pazaak player, Duros shop owner, selkath stranded on planet.

(maybe more)

 

actually wouldn't mind help on the design of any of these characters

 

New Quests

 

Fish out of water: Help a Selkath get back to manaan

 

No room for two: There is too much fighting between the CEC and Czerka, will you help them reach a compromise or will you pick a side? Note: DS,LS options

 

Eviction revoked: Help a mother and her Daughter get their home back

 

Safe passage It's winter and Valerian Korr need to get his reaped produce to the holiday resort, being the major farm around, however he's having a little trouble with a tweilek and a pair of walking carpets that want the stuff for themselves, who will you help?

 

witch in the cave, upon convincing the stubborn old man to move, explore the caves and come across Lilly a dathomiri witch. Note: you won't be able to convince the old man to move untill you have something for him. this item can be attained in the resort, however expect trouble.

 

thats it for the quests for now

This mod will be available once you can leave dantooine, you will be sent by the councel do deal with the CEC, Czerka Dispute to avoid problems with republic ship production, with the added job of checking out this cave that is strong with the force.

well considering i've already reskinned dantooine & tatooine it shouldn't take too long to have screenies up, just need to make them for the custom modules instead, Korr Vella is a bit of a mess as im still messing with the city tga files.

 

Yeah, the Sandral compound was the one you entered. good luck w/the mod.

Ummm.... You might want to include Cor-Sec....

And Treasure Ship Row....

And some custom Areas...

 

That's my recomendation...

 

Also, the Corellians are the oldest space-faring humans.

Their government is called the Diktat.

The entire planet is basically one big rural temperate zone.

Cor-Sec wears green and Black.

 

It looks like you got this down though! Good Luck, and I wish you speed so I can download this!

Some of those suggestions may just end up in the dialogue for now, i.e Corsec, the governent, and as for treasure ship row.... now that you've mentioned it i sense another quest coming up.... add more depth to the Planets involvment with space travel. as for custom areas, anything i do will come from changing the modules already available, i know nothing of modeling new areas

 

while im at it, does anyone know the right tga files for the leaves on dantooine and the floor of the streets in mos eisley?

 

also, i was wondering if anyone would be willing to help do some changes to dan skybox, nothing too major, maybe just bigger mountains and such. if not it can stay how it is

 

Edit: on second thought i will add ComSec, patroling the streets of the Resort, maybe an office too, and intertwine them the argument between CEC and Czerka, lemme think on this a little more....

 

Further Edit: as for Treasure Ship Row, i wont add that, cause it is situated at coronet, instead the merchant at the resort and CEC starport will be trading goods from there...

im having a bit of trouble with doors, i don't know how to place them properly, how to make them transit to another module or open to a room, heck i dunno how to make them appear even. basically i'd like all the doors to remain the same as in the origional modules, all opening the usuall module areas, except for one passage way on the dantooine module that will lead to the tatooine module i will be using. can anyone help?, i've posted an image what i've tried in the git. file. this entry is for the door that leads from the enclave to the courtyard on dantooine

thank you bot, yeah a lot of thought has gone into this, maybe a litte too much, due to my limited skills, this is definitely gonna be one of those re-used modules things. i guess the hardest thing will be to design the plot npc's as i wnt the to be unique to the rest of the npc's walking around and i'm not the best at the textures and stuff.

No problem. ^_^ Have you thought about maybe making a small team? Or asking someone to help you in areas you're not strong at?

yeah i have in the way of help, but... well i know so many people are busy with their own stuff an probably more than one project at that. as for a team well, i'd drive members nuts with my slowness and uh ever changing mind.lol, well im at least getting the core stuff started, plenty time for the decorating still:)

cool, thanks e-varmint, actually some nice blasters would be cool, since i'm kinda steping away from the whole jedi, sith stuff here, well except for the Dathimor witch Lilly, i'd love some fantasy looking staff for here. lol i'm just starting to play with modeling myself, needless to say for now i personally will stick to the standard stuff, let others like you help with the unique items
