Darth Groovy
Hey fools, how many of you out there are into Rock Band? I know I have not had much time to play lately between moving, and my store being so DAMN busy this summer with the increased traffic, and constant new releases/launches. One of the greatest albums of all time is The Pixies' Doolittle, which you can download the whole damn thing for less than 1600 Microsoft points. Seriously, this is like the best album ever....check it out for yourself. And if any of you on 360 Live are interested, I will vocal any of those songs with profound enthusiasm. IG-64
I gots it. I play mostly lead guitar. I'm currently finishing up the last few (impossible) songs on Hard mode, and I haven't gotten quite to expert yet except for the easier songs. On 360 as well. BongoBob
I practically play only WoW and Rock Band anymore. Grooves I'm always down to lay down some fat beats for ya. And while it may be a good album, it definately aint good on drums. Waste of my money to get that cd.
Kain
Tch, I really need to pick it up. And if we're starting a Swampy band, sorry IG, but I'm taking lead guitar. And you may be asking yourself, 'Why Kain? Why destroy my hopes of being in the band?' And I answer: 17 gold starred songs...on Expert. On top of the fact that all of my Expert songs are 5 starred. Now you may all be asking 'If he doesn't own it, how does he do it?'. And again, I answer: My friend owned it awhile back. Sold it before I got my 360 so now I can't buy it off of him for cheap...that damn fat red-haired bastard. So, you'll all have to wait until next week for me to go out and get it. Seriously, this is like the best album ever....check it out for yourself. And if any of you on 360 Live are interested, I will vocal any of those songs with profound enthusiasm. Debaser and Crackity Jones are the only worthy songs... the other songs, especially Silver, sorta just suck. But seriously, Rock Band rocks the hard one, it's the one game (next to Skate), that I've been playing on a regular basis since it came out. I'm an expert guitarist who can at least finish almost any song but the ultra difficult ones like GG&HT, Thrasher, and Ride the Lightning. I'm pretty much always up for some band-age and own a lot of DLC songs. My character Skwisgaar has over $73,000 - And I've gold-starred the first 15 songs except Learn to Fly, When We Were Young, Reptillia, (Don't Fear) The Reaper, and Highway Star. And I've five-starred all but three of the songs in the main career except Flirtin' With Disaster and Run to the Hills (4 stars) and haven't finished GG&HT. In the bonus songs, I've gold starred 3 songs and got 5 stars for all but the Timmy song. So yeah, Zerstorer23, add me, message me who you are, and we'll rock some. :V
BongoBob
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5c6Q6ZCfgA Video showing that Silver is the only song where you can, on drums, literally not hit a note, and still finish the song. With 0% notes hit, and a score of 0. lol
Da_man
I basically play Dead or Alive, Welcome Home, Enter Sandman, and Don't Fear the Reaper on Rock Band, but it's still fun to play.

I always hoped those songs would show up at some of the karaoke bars I went too, but no. Pixies were ahead of Nirvana, and influenced a lot of people. They may be irrelevant now, but the songs they wrote are timeless. And Doolittle is a masterpiece and influenced a lot of the stuff I wrote while in various bands as well. I will probably download "Ride The Lightning", because that was one of the better Metallica songs back in the day, and believe it or not, I been listening to old Metallica again on my mp3 player just for kicks. TiE, you been on my buddy list for a while now, and the only reason we never jammed is because I used to share a house with older people who went to sleep at night, and sadly that was usually the only free time I had. Now I got my own crib to myself, and I can make all the noise I want as late as I want. I want to lay vocals on all these Pixies tunes, but I will rock out to some OLD Metallica as well. I will pick up some more microsoft points at work today (I get an employee discount if I buy them in the store) and start practicing again. I bought one of the Rock Band guitars just for giggles, but I have not really messed with it yet. I got it mostly so that I could hopefully master the songs I refuse to sing (IE Weezer, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs). The thing I like about Rock Band is that it has so many more cool songs to rock out too, that I could never find in previous karaoke games. The download system from the marketplace has kept that game alive loooooong after it's launch. The Doolittle album was just the icing on the cake for me, and I hope they keep up the trend with other albums as well. Now all things aside, I already have Dath and TiE on my buddy list, but not sure about the rest of ya. Please throw up your gamer tags so I can get you added. I plan to have at least 3 days off this week, and I am going to start jamming as early as tonight after work.
Kain
Hm, mayhap I'll go out and rent it for awhile until I can actually afford to go out and buy it. As for my GT Grooves...see below. (Hint: Its Madness Hero85) Then we can totally start the Swampies band and rock out the worlds!! We just need a bassist/rhythm guitarist.

No worries. Also, for no reason at all, here is my list of songs I would like to see on the marketplace for Rock Band in no particular order: Alice In Chains: "We Die Young" "Man In The Box" "Would?" Megadeth: "Symphony of Destruction" "Peace Sells" "Hangar 18" Suicidal Tendancies: "Institutionalized" "You Can't Bring Me Down" "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow" Anthrax: "Madhouse" "Indians" "I'm The Man"

I plan to have at least 3 days off this week, and I am going to start jamming as early as tonight after work. We'll, I've got Debaser and Crackity Jones from the pack. Wave of Mutilation, whether it's the fast or slow version, I enjoy, but the other songs aren't enjoyable or fun to play. This may sound mean, but Wave of Mutilation was the first Pixies song I've ever knowledgeably heard in my life in Rock Band in November 2007 and I personally don't understand how this is the "best album evar", because I got it before the DLC came out to scan what was coming out, and I'm not totally impressed, especially by their inability to get most of their songs over the three-minute mark. I'm not a fan, and I don't sing, I play dem guitar. I tend to only buy songs with a difficulty over fifth tier, and there are only a few songs that I like enough to buy at easy difficulties like Fortunate Son, Simple Man, and Greatest Man That Ever Lived. Also, here is all of my DLC: ... And Justice For All - Metallica 3's & 7's - Queens of the Stone Age Afterlife - Avenged Sevenfold All the Small Things - Blink-182 Beethoven's C*nt - Serj Tankian Call Me - Blondie Casey Jones - The Grateful Dead China Cat Sunflower - The Grateful Dead Crackity Jones - Pixies Critical Acclaim - Avenged Sevenfold Crushcrushcrush - Paramore Debaser - Pixies Dirty Little Secret - All-American Rejects Down At The Whisky - Motley Crue Fortunate Son - Credence Clearwater Revival Franklin's Tower - The Grateful Dead Gimmie Three Steps - Lynyrd Skynyrd Hammerhead - The Offspring Hier Kommt Alex - Die Toten Hosen Hysteria - Muse I Need A Miracle - The Grateful Dead Indestructible - Disturbed Inside the Fire - Disturbed Juke Box Hero - Foreigner Just What I Needed - The Cars Little Sister - Queens of the Stone Age Message in a Bottle - The Police More Than a Feeling - Boston Perfect Insanity - Disturbed Promised Land - Vesuvius Queen Bitch - David Bowie Red Tandy - The Mother Hips Riding On The Wind - Judas Priest Rock and Roll Band - Boston Rock Rebellion - Band Camaro Saints of Los Angeles - Motley Crue Screaming For Vengeance - Judas Priest Shake - Count Zero Shockwave - Black Tide Sick, Sick, Sick - Queens of the Stone Age Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd Sprode - Freezepop Still Alive - GLaDOS Sugar Magnolia - The Grateful Dead Synchronicity II - The Police The Greatest Man That Ever Lived - Weezer The Prefect Drug - Nine Inch Nails Time-Sick Son of a Grizzly Bear - The Mother Hips Truckin' - The Grateful Dead War Pigs - Black Sabbath Wonderwall - Oasis Working Man - Rush You've Got Another Thing Comin' - Judas Priest Wow, I just spent the last 10 minutes typing that out by hand while looking at my 360's screen... sad.
