Ahh... yes... sorry for the delay...

Anyways...

Here is a small description/intro-

16 years ago, Malachor V was destroyed. Again. One of the rock fragments drifted off and crashed into the planet Alelaari. The impact caused a layer of Alenon to be spread across the planet. It is said that this is what caused one person to be extremely force sensitive. Unfortunately, there were no jedi around to provide training, so the force sensitivity went to waste. Years later, that same person is traveling the galaxy looking for purpose, whatever it may be. Now on the home planet of Alelaari, the force has come back with extreme strength and power. Throughout life, this person has found a companion in the likes of a female, named Ellona Vox. She is a master at technical improvements and repairs, and has been a friend of yours for several years. Together, they must find someone to provide training, or else, the force may go away, this time with much more...

It's a WIP so, most likely, it will be changed slightly.

Here are the party members-

Ellona Vox [Female, Human, Tech Specialist]

Zdenka Mayweather [Male, Human, Scoundrel]

Miriam Sunfield [Male, Human, Soldier]

Janina Sadow [Female, Human, Jedi Knight]

Aresa Sim [Female, Human, Soldier]

Kosk [Male, Human, Mandalorian Soldier]

Torass Greib [Female, Twi'lek, Jedi Knight]

Drydrrl [Male, Wookie, Soldier]

Neequuk [Female, Rodian, Bounty Hunter]

The path you choose will decide which of the following you can recruit-

Jedi Master Daniel Rogocki [Male, Human, Jedi Master (consular)]

Darth Bahr [Male, Human, Sith Lord (guardian)]

Planets-

Coruscant

Korriban

Telos

Nar Shaddaa

Dantooine

Alelaari

Rybrinion

Another post will come with descriptions of the characters and planets.

Also, a website will be up shortly, where you can follow it more closely, and apply for a position.

Thanks and patient, you must be. :)

PARTY MEMBER DESCRIPTIONS-

Here are some light descriptions..

Ellona Vox-

Ellona Vox worked for the Rybrinion Government before it collapsed and became a monarchy. The former president of Rybrinion felt she was the only one smart enough and the only one with enough skill in computer hacking, networking, and programming to work for the gov't. She lived up to her reputation by becoming known as the best in the galaxy. She now makes a living doing repairs for the common folk.

Zdenka Mayweather-

Zdenka Mayweather was the pazaak player to beat on Nar Shaddaa. He became the champion once, and kept it until he retired from the game. When word of his flying skills got out, the republic was all over him with job offers. He accepted and worked for the republic for some time. He got tired of it and ran away. Some rumor that he is on Alelaari, neighboring a former Jedi Master.

Miriam Sunfield-

Miriam Sunfield spent his entire working career, oddly enough only 10 years, as a soldier for the republic. He was deemed with nicknames such as "Kaptain Kill" and "MSgt. Murder". Some people accuse him for unnecessary kills, saying that he shot POW's in the middle of questioning and murdered innocents. He now lives on Telos, denying everything they say about him.

Janina Sadow-

Janina Sadow is the descendant of famed Sith Lord Naga Sadow. She doesn't live up to his name as she is extremely loyal to the Order, whether it is alive or not. She is said to be a peace seeker on Onderon, living in the western quarter of Iziz.

Torass Greib-

Torass Greib is a traditional Jedi Knight but she is not as loyal as most. She is the most vulnerable to turn to the dark side. She has extreme power as she has trained herself eversince her master died in the Mandalorian Wars. This may be the cause for this but it is unknown for sure. She resides on Nar Shaddaa.

Drydrrl-

Drydrrl represents wookie pride. He will go off at the slightest of negative wookie comments, but is trying to restrain himself. He was born on Kashyyk but was taken as a slave to Onderon. He killed his slave master and freed the other 2 enslaved wookies under the ownership of his former owner. He has much to say and it would be wise to listen.

Aresa Sim-

Aresa Sim was a former Sith Commander, but retired due to payment issues. She is loyal but can't decide what to do next. Speak to her right, and she will join you. She lives at the Rebuilt Sith Academy on Korriban.

Kosk-

Kosk represents your traditional mandalorian. He loves to fight, and has led the Mandalorian Armies to victory multiple times. On Rybrinion, he is the local hunter and provides the food for his town. You will find he is extremely cocky, and has a smart mouth. However, through the battles, you will find he can back up his words.

Neequuk-

Neequuk is a great bounty hunter and she will shoot someone with a smart mouth. Except Kosk. She's too smart to shoot him. Ironically, she hides out on Dantooine as she is afraid for her life.

Jedi Master Daniel Rogocki-

Master Daniel Rogocki is an elderly but famed Jedi Master. He was on the council when the Sith attempted to eliminate all of the last jedi. However, he sensed it coming before the other Masters. He tried to warn them, but their pathetic stubborn nature refused to go into hiding earlier. As a result, they all died, save Master Rogocki. He now makes his home on the planet Alelaari. He makes a living now by telling the youngsters stories of the Jedi. He is a great asset as he is a very powerful Jedi Consular.

Darth Bahr-

Darth Bahr should not be crossed. He is also elderly like Master Rogocki, but he is much quicker and stronger. The Sith Lord has a troubled past, which may be the inspiration for his mean streak. He shows no mercy to his opponents, however, he does have passion for his followers, showering them with gifts. Some Sith Lords felt this is a sign of weakness, but whenever one tried to murder him, they failed miserably. His favorite force powers are Force Storm and Force Crush because together, they form a deadly combination. Do not speak of him negatively behind his back or you may find yourself on the receiving end of his attacks.

Good luck!!!

Ahh... Well I'm not here for a competition. I'm here for the fun of it. I looked at yours. Sounds really good. I'll most likely download and give it a spin. :)

And good luck to you as well!!!

PLANET DESCRIPTIONS-

Here are some light descriptions...

Coruscant-

Home to the widest-known Jedi Temple in the galaxy, Coruscant is most likely the most influential planet. It is heavily populated and a center point in the mod. Here, you will see a Jedi Temple, Cantina, Docks, a Republic Base, and an "underground" sith temple.

Korriban-

A sith watering hole, to say the least. This planet mainly comes into play during the dark side version of play but will get involved with the light side. It is lightly populated, and a desert planet. A Sith Academy, Valley, Cave, and Docking area will be put on this planet.

Telos-

Citadel Station is the work effort to try and rebuild the planet. It has medium population, and features most of the areas of the Telos you see in TSL. Has a slight involvement with both storylines.

Nar Shaddaa-

Cesspool of the galaxy, Nar Shaddaa is like a paperjam in a printer. Too much trying to come at once. Extremely high population, it will have a signifigant purpose in both storylines. Like Telos, it will have many features seen in the original Nar Shaddaa of TSL.

Dantooine-

Peace. For a while, at least. Dantooine is like Coruscant in the fact that it is a home to the jedi. It has been rebuilt since the end of TSL. It will be more like KotOR1 as it features the Jedi Enclave much more. Huge involvement with both storylines.

Alelaari-

This is a custom planet, made exclusively for this mod. Alelaari is the start of the game, the PC's homeworld, and where the game will have lots of backround in. It is like a mix of Citadel Station and Onderon.

Rybrinion-

Also a custom planet, it will feature a major part of the story. The End. It has an extremely low population. Home to only 3 people. No matter which path you take, this will be the end of it all. It is much like a mix of Peragus, Korriban (TSL), and Malachor V.

Wouldn't the population be 3 then? :D, unless they're not living there at the moment.

Sure are a lot of ambitious projects starting lately...I might have to free up some hard drive space. :D

Hmm... you are correct. I meant to put something along the lines of "extremely low population"....

Yeah, thats right. Well, I was just sick of playing the reg. game. Ive played it so many times, I'm surprised I still own it. So I felt I should make a mod and change the storyline. You know?

meh. Total Conversions usually fail because the authors give up or by the time they're done people have lost interest.

Whoa whoa whoa...

I did say to express your feelings or doubts but I mean, come on. Did you just come here to say something like that, or were you actually interested?

But do they fail 100% of the time? No, and is "Usually fail" any reason for everyone to just stop trying? You need a good strike to the forehead sir. I'll just say that I am glad that the majority of the modders here do not think like you :) Also, it is pretty rude to go into someone's WIP thread and make a comment like that.

@Topic - I truly wish you the best of luck with this mod. I'll be keeping my eye on it :)

I do agree with Doc here; and I wish you the best of luck with this; Doc, DI and Silveredge are the best people to speak.

However, as I remarked to Quanon; I think a number of total conversion mods fail because modders with very little experience announce them, and as KotOR is not the easiest of games to mod when they realise the amount of work needed they stop.

It is also important to note even highly skilled modders such as Pavlos (he with others failed with M4-78) have struggled - and that was only one planet. All this is just to point out you have a lot of work a head of you; and please review the thought of those who have made mistakes before so you don't make them again.

The above are a couple of reasons TC mods are often viewed with scepticism, but i again wish you luck! :)

Thank you for the support, and I do know how much work I have in front of me. Modules, Reskinning, Scripting, Dialogs, Recruitments, Placements, the list goes on and on...

The only thing I'm really not feeling good about is the NPC placement. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't...

As for the comment of unskilled modders, I have done several mods before, but I've never released them to the general public.

Yeah, I guess people base their opinions a bit to hard on what modders can do.

Its not because you didn't release any you're "noob".

Anyway, I think its often better to wait with WIP thread untill you got some things done and you can actually afort... uh aford... argh... pay the time to spend some attention and time to that thread.

Me and GM waited a long time to start a thread on our Scrapyard Game, though I get the feeling it might have bin just even a little to early now.

Still, I wish your Team the best of luck and speed with this.

Just make sure you're all a in the same Time zone, so that realltime chatting and all is possible, else feedback on problems and such can become a real hassle.

I've been in a big Team before, it saddly didn't end with a "glorious" mod we dreamed off. And don't be afraid to cut things, me and GM did this aswell on our mod effort together, sometimes certain ideas are still to whack or difficult.

M'yeah good luck on this big mod.

Well, luckily I am not going to be busy for a couple weeks now so I have time to work on the mod and update the public on the progress.

Thanks for the luck :)
