DarthJacen
I have not been able to find anything like this, so forgive me if this request has already been made. What I'm looking for is a mod that changes the music in KoTOR and the TSL (I know, they have two different soundtracks. I actually, just, want the TSL, but I figured I would make the KoTOR request for other people who might want this.) I miss, the sound of John Williams playing in the background. I have the Weather Music Mod for Star Wars Galaxies, and I just, love it! I don't know if anyone can help me because I've googled KOTOR 2 Music Mod and the only file I found, did not have the movie music in it. Then, I found The Rise of the Sith Mod, which has it, supposedly, but it's only 25% complete as a mod, and only a Demo is out. Would someone please help me? whatthehell
there is a tutorial for adding custom music to the games. i say this because i think that there would be a copyright issue maybe. (not sure myself)
Robespierre
There will be copyright issues. The only way this conversation won't be shut down is if you were talking about music that is in the public domain.
DarthJacen
How do you have Copyright issues? I've seen these mods done for Star Wars Galaxies, and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. They just replace the music with downloaded itunes that the modder would have to pay for. Oh, well! That explains, why I don't see one for the KotOR games, the others must have already paid for the rights.

Somebody did do the "Movie Music Mod" for TSL. Good luck finding it.
jonathan7
Just because they were done' date=' does not make the mods legal.[/quote'] QFT You could just buy the Star Wars Music soundtrack, and play that in the background, having turned KotOR/TSL's music off - though I like both the soundtracks in the KotOR games. Kainzorus Prime
You can in fact do a mod like this that would replace actual music, but only for personal use without releasing it. Then it is perfectly legal.

DarthJacen
Just because they were done, does not make the mods legal. Somebody did do the "Movie Music Mod" for TSL. Good luck finding it. Yeah! I, just, tried to google it. They removed it. Edit: QFT You could just buy the Star Wars Music soundtrack, and play that in the background, having turned KotOR/TSL's music off - though I like both the soundtracks in the KotOR games. I already have all of the available albums on iTunes Episode I (the Ultimate Edition): 68 songs 2 hours in length Episode II (I think this disc and the Episode III disc lack too many songs from their respective films compared to my other ones) 13 songs 1.2 hours Episode III 15 songs 1.1 hours Episode IV 24 songs 1.7 hours Episode V 23 songs 2 hours Episode IV 27 songs 2.4 hours +2 +1.2 +1.1 +1.7 +2 +2.4 =10.4 hours worth of songs I don't know if I need all of those. Would anyone like to make any suggestions? Edit2: True enough We just can't discuss it (specifics) on these forums... You can follow this tutorial and you should be able to figure it out Thank you very much! And, Chainz.2da, I love your work. I have more than a couple of your mods installed. Edit3: It still seems odd that you would have a copyright issue with adding Star Wars music to a Star Wars game. Other games, have it, but the KoTOR games decided to make their own sound track in the Star Wars style, but only use the Main Title and Credits from the movies. What would Star Wars be without the opening crawl? Or the the Credits. A space fairy tale. I mean, you have a boy' in A New Hope, who has an oedipus rex complex for his sister, the damsel in distress. He travels with a wizard, a pirate, and an overgrown version of George Lucas's old dog Indiana. (Indiana Jone, anyone?)
