Tommycat
Meh I tell people I'm lazy. It's the whole reason I write scripts to do my work for me. Considering My job entails sitting in a chair watching computer screens all night, the little work I have to do I get done by scripts and timed macros... You don't have to be great at everything to be lazy. Just smart about how you do what you do. I even told my boss that I was lazy. It's my primary motivation for 90% of the things I get done in my job. Anything I can do to work less, I'll do it. It's hard work being lazy.... This and Rhett's posts are the little gems in this thread. Laziness is one of the 3 "virtues" exalted by Larry Wall, the creator of the Perl programming language (the other two being impatience and hubris). Laziness: The quality that makes you go to great effort to reduce overall energy expenditure. It makes you write labor-saving programs that other people will find useful, and document what you wrote so you don't have to answer so many questions about it. Hence, the first great virtue of a programmer. Despite this thread's fail tattoo, this is what Jedi Aagin implied in his first post. Rachel_Ewok
I *can't* be lazy... It's aganist my nature, if I was lazy... Then what would I do with my life!? If I sat around, who would get me into a good college like Harvard!? I need to be doing something, whether it be cleaning or doing homework or *SOMETHING*... If I did *nothing* I think I would explode. Well, actually it's pretty easy to do nothing at the beach, but even then I busy myself reading books or making sand castles. =P

With laptops, even lounging is doing something.
