M@RS
Yeah, because not being a clone is only minor, after all. Well Boba Fett was still around, why couldn't the Stormtroopers still be clones?
Astor
Well Boba Fett was still around, why couldn't the Stormtroopers still be clones? I didn't say that there weren't clones, just that the Storm Commandos weren't clones. I've said several times that clones were around -- but it's stated several times that Storm Commandos were regular humans.

RC-1183
so basically you have genectically enginiered super soldiers trained by the best Mando mercenaries and then you have noramal guys trained by some other guy that is apparently a hot shot or something who do you think will win skills or technology...wait acutally thats a big question... Why do you think they get picked off by Luke and Leia, when they barely know how to hold a blaster...
M@RS
That's true...I never thought about that...
Astor
Why do you think they get picked off by Luke and Leia, when they barely know how to hold a blaster... That's because they fall prey to the 'Star Wars bad guys' thing. If they had a game, and books about them, then they'd be the ones hero worshipped by fanboys. RC-1183
no they wouldnt they are not popular enough also bad or good they still are nothing compared to Republic Commandos look at sidous, vader, grevious and many other evil characters that are worshiped so you cant say that just because they are bad means they cant be famous
Astor
no they wouldnt they are not popular enough[/Quote] Alright, let me put it this way... No-body had even heard of a Republic Commando of this game, and to see some of the things some of you post, you'd think they're gods. Had they chosen to the do the game about the Storm Commandos, it'd be the same. also bad or good they still are nothing compared to Republic Commandos And where did you get that impression? That's right, from the game, and the books. Without which, Republic Commandos wouldn't be so 'OMG awesome' as you make them out to be. Hell, without them, they probably wouldn't exist. And don't come back with 'yes they would be' because you'll still be basing your opinions on things established in the games and books. look at sidous, vader, grevious and many other evil characters that are worshiped so you cant say that just because they are bad means they cant be famous If you'd read my post, you'll see that I never said that evil couldn't be popular. I was elaborating on the fact that anyone who comes up against Skywalker and the like has to die, by virtue of them being important characters. Put RCs up against Skywalker and they wouldn't stand a chance. (you can argue that if you wish, but it's true.)

Rinku
Just because Boba Fett is aorund desn't mean more clones either, Palpatine didn't like clones... But yet Palpatine had a secret cloning facility, and had a clone of himself. (That is confusing )
LordOfTheFish
Maybe this could clearify. Despite Palpatine's dislike of clones, and cloning, he put it aside for the lust for power the Sith all share. Clones were the only way he could bring the galaxy to it's knees, and he knew it...
