Q
Agreed. It's still a price-hike; a big one, apparently.
narfblat
I think this is an early side effect of OnLive (if you don't know about it, see this thread). Bandwidth is about to be in higher demand, so they want to charge more for it.
Kuuki
i vote that someone find a way to directly pirate into the interweb w/o causing harm to anyone else's legitimate service
Q
This reminds me of that Simpson's episode from back when I used to watch it (a long time ago) that was about stealing cable.

Q
I'll bet that Scar's happy about this. Chalk one up for the consumer. It's more the exception than the rule, but sometimes it pays to bitch and moan.

Darth Avlectus
Makes the 250 GB cap that charters going to not look half as bad. I guess the free porn trains over for you guys. You dirty runt! <snip> The plan here is already in set in motion to switch to AT&T for my internet, because they offer their DSL with no bandwidth caps. Might be a slight downer on the available performance of this type of broadband, but it's better then paying for a potential $100 internet bill. As for anyone else who could also be effect, I ask that you join me in signing the petition. http://www.petitiononline.com/nocap/petition-sign.html I haven't had much in the way of performance problems except an occasionally botched upload/download. Yah, the unlimited bandwidth is great. You won't be sorry.
