Commander Dimal Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I have always wondered what would happen if Commandos and Spartans joined forces with each other. What do you guys think would happen if they joined forces or faced each others enemies or they join forces to fight their enemies or if their enemies joined forces so the Commandos and Spartans had to work together. So what do you think?
Commander Dimal Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 I don't mean the actual Greek warriors.I am talking about the Spartans of the Halo world.
RC-1183 Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 wow thats a change from the usual spatans vs rcs but that would be cool i guess but i dont think it would work very well because the spartans are more independent where as the rcs are more team based.
Darth Eclipse Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The spartans are 100% trained for fighting in teams. That is what they were trained to do their entire lives. The only reason John 117 fights solo is because the rest of the spartans are dead. Yes, I did read the books.
M@RS Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 wow thats a change from the usual spatans vs rcs Commandos are "RCs"...
Commander Dimal Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 Also I thought about this. You could get the equivalent of a Spartan if you put an ARC trooper in commando armor.
LordOfTheFish Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 *walks in whistling and hangs fail sign on door reading: "fail zone- do not enter" walks out*
Commander Dimal Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 *walks in whistling and hangs fail sign on door reading: "fail zone- do not enter" walks out* What's that suppose to mean? Also if the clone troopers DNA was altered to make them more obedient why couldn't their DNA have been altered to make them faster, stronger, smarter...etc.

If you searched this topic of Commandos vs. Spartans you wouldn't believe how many threads there are... People here don't take too kindly to repeated threads from "newbies".
Sabretooth Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 *walks in whistling and hangs fail sign on door reading: "fail zone- do not enter" walks out* *scribbles graffiti on wall: ABAnDoN ALL HOPE ye whO EntER HERE*
Commander Dimal Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 I am not trying to start another Spartan vs Commando thread. What I am trying to say is to make up a your own story about what would happen if the Spartans and RC's joined forces.

M@RS Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 They'd kick butt and rule the entire galaxy. [/thread]
RC #38 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 If They Were Against Covenant: Covenant = Dead If They Were Against The Trade Feds: Bye Bye Droids Conclusion: Death Of All Enemies
Dread Advocate Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 yeah ive thought of stuff like this. its like what happens when the Terran Marines and Space Marines meet and put aside all differences (religion, accent, health problems etc).
Commander Dimal Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 There are lots of fanfic stories on the internet people have created about Star Wars/Halo crossovers and most of them are good.
Dread Advocate Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 not just Dawn of War, the entire Warhammer 40,000 series.
Te Je'karta Mand'alor Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 1-epic chaos 2-mass destruction of enemies 3-fight about who get's the credit for winning 4-fight each other about it 5-RCs beat their butts
GeneralPloKoon Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I'm sorry, but the idea of Star Wars and Halo together is disgusting...
LordOfTheFish Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 It's not a bad idea at all. I'm not sure that it could ever happen, which is entirely because they come from two different time zone and games. As with most debates about this sort of matter (Halo vs. SW or Halo + SW), the biggest factor is technology and how they are uncomparable. Their is also fighting tactics, and leadership values to be considered. Obviously, coming from a more advanced world one might assume the RCs would be the ones to take control. It's quite possible that the Spartans may not like the idea of having them lead. In my opinion if the two were ever to meet, it wouldn't be a pretty site. I'm sure a fight would break out within an hour. And as we have determined in previous threads, the Commandos would surely win.

Mandalore The Shadow Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Here are my thoughts on order of their occurence: 1) Epic 2) Wouldn't happen 3) Makes no sense 4) I agree with the above post 5) Still sorta cool 6) Spartans rule 7) (and most importantly) I want a bunny
