Trench
I find that hilarious. Imagine what the neighbors thought as it was happening (if they were even home). You can always count on the good old US of A to give a good laugh.
Astor
It's fortunate no-one was hurt. At least it was only a 2-pounder he was firing, and not a 13-pounder artillery piece as shown in the picture - otherwise his neighbour might have lost their home. But yeah, I think that Mr. Maser needs to find a firing range to test his artillery in future.
igyman
I don't think he'll be allowed near any firearms and/or artillery for some time. I find it additionally hilarious that the cannonball actually ricocheted. Never heard of that happening before.
Astor
I find it additionally hilarious that the cannonball actually ricocheted. Never heard of that happening before. It's not unheard of - at least for a grenade sized ball such as that to ricochet, but it is rare for it to happen, and then go onto to penetrate a building. Te Je'karta Mand'alor
he really shouldn't have been pointing a cannon at something that would cause a cannonball to ricoche
Ping
Wow, am I glad that was over at Pittsburgh and not Philadelphia, which I happen to live near (about an hour away, to be exact).
Darth Avlectus
What the #%^*?! That's classic. EPIC classic. I don't think he'll be allowed near any firearms and/or artillery for some time. They went rather light on him, of course all things considered he was a history buff so I don't think they saw any malicious intent behind it. --They may make a special cannon safety school class after this incident has been dealt with...and some new city ordinances. I find it additionally hilarious that the cannonball actually ricocheted. Never heard of that happening before. Force of propulsion and incoming angle would have something to do with it provided it didn't get stuck in the ground--which apparently is the case here. Tobias Reiper
So does that mean the Neighbors won't want to come to play charades and twister anymore?
Darth Avlectus
Oh come on. What ever gave you that idea?
