AlfredJ
So, some of you might know this already, but Hothead opened the Deathspank Hero Hotline. Need evil vanquished? Call Deathspank! Try it, it's quite amusing: 1-866-631-1574 I found it through a tweet of one of the developers (http://twitter.com/JodyHotHead), but apparently they originally put it in one of the press releases or something. edit: After playing with it a bit more, my favorite bit is where you ask Deathspank to use 'downtrodden' in a sentence, and he says something like: "The downtrodden people lived in the village outside the castle, and couldn't afford to eat anything but stone soup (which was soup with a stone in it)." Should I spoiler tag something like this? Oh well.
Jake
I picked up one of DeathSpanks business cards at PAX and gave it a call. Good stuff. More games need marketing weirdness like this.

daltysmilth
That's weird. The front page gave me credit for starting this thread when I haven't posted in it before now. I have no qualms about taking credit for other people's work, but only if no one can prove someone else did the work. Sorry, AlfredJ.

Kroms
There was no bribe involved in the creation nor fixing of this situation.
