Totenkopf Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 The answer is in the link. Had no idea who he was till I clicked it myself.
Alkonium Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Who? He was best known for playing Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, or the Brigadier, on Doctor Who, with appearances spanning from 1968 to 1989.
purifier Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Lived 81 years, most people expect to at least reach that age before passing on. R.I.P. Mr. Courtney.
Astor Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 UNIT was much better when he was in charge. RIP.
Darth Avlectus Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 RIP dude. Though I don't even keep up on Dr. Who.
The Doctor Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Who? Among other things, yes. A damned shame. He was a fine actor - one of the best of the classic series. I wish he had appeared in the parent series again instead of SJA. Who in that show's target audience would appreciate the character the way your typical Whovian would?
