Blix Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Monumental Lapse of judgment...perhaps he should have been a professional gamer instead
Sabretooth Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I can understand pinching diamonds from the evidence locker, but why Xboxes? Don't police chiefs make enough?
jedi_consular16 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 You don't get rich in law enforcement, even Chiefs. And especially in a city like St. Louis which is not all that rich of a city anyway. But still....basic xbox consoles go for what....299$ new? Unless you get a large HDD which is something like another 100 for 399$? So even if he had 3 to sell, (excluding the one in his basement) how much could he really make? Sell them for 299$ a piece (lets just ball park a 100 decrease to undercut BestBuy and the like) and not even make a thousand? Whats the point?
Darth InSidious Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I can understand pinching diamonds from the evidence locker, but why Xboxes? Don't police chiefs make enough? Presumably he did it for the same reason that celebrity TV chefs steal from supermarkets.
Qui-Gon Glenn Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Presumably he did it for the same reason that celebrity TV chefs steal from supermarkets. They should go shopping with Winona Ryder.
Darth Avlectus Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Damn. You know I fix RRODs of XBOX360s and resell them real cheap since the slim came out. If I'd have known dude was in the market for one this whole thing could have been avoided.
Q Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 This is why police departments shouldn't hire a twice-convicted felon.
