Trench
Link to Yahoo! News article. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Clarke Duncan, the hulking, prolific character actor whose dozens of films included an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in "The Green Mile" and such other box office hits as "Armageddon," ''Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda," is dead at age 54. Clarke died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fiancée, Reverend Omarosa Manigault, in a statement released by publicist Joy Fehily. Most unexpected.
igyman
Well... crap. As you said, completely unexpected news. My condolences to his family and friends. The man was a pretty cool actor and it's a shame we won't be able to see him in any future films or TV shows.

thejman217
Wow. That's really sad. He was a type of guy that had some REAL swagger, not S.W.A.G.
Darth Avlectus
Celebs go in 3s. R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan. 54 is just not old enough.
The Doctor
I saw this on Facebook earlier this evening. I didn't believe it. I'm still hoping it's a hoax.
Pho3nix
Not really unexpected since It's pretty common for people of his size to die of heart complications at a younger age. You can imagine with his height (and weight) how much extra work his heart had to do to keep blood flowing. Anyway, I really liked his acting and he always seemed like a cool guy. R.I.P. Totenkopf
Caught me off gaurd, too. Then I saw that he'd had a heart attack back in July and never really recovered. Only 54, so a damn shame.
